Information and knowledge is a powerful tool in a world that is need of some direction. A direction of love and peace for Earth and her inhabitants. Such is the way of Native American Spirituality.

This vision starts with ourselves, biases must be removed for all of life is connected. A weak thread weakens the whole net. The native teachings can strengthen us in many ways. When we work together the Sacred Hoop will be strong. Such teachings, when shared with good intent and with a good heart and are dedicated to manifesting peace, will help nourish the Sacred Tree of Life.

There are many native ways within the 700 nations in the Americas alone. Some ways are specific according to the tribe/nation location. There are no generic traditions of living, being and dying. All should be viewed with respect and honor as would when learning about any other belief system. There are no definitive right or wrong ways to practice this style of belief for it represents the way to live, love and respect all things. There are customs, rites and ceremonies that are sacred to that particular philosophy within that particular tribe/nation. We must practice Respect, Will and Active Intelligence. Peace, Love and Tolerance of understanding along with harmonizing the mind, body and spirit is the epitome of this ideal and marks the Beauty Path.

May you have a chance to sit and reflect on this message in a positive way to achieve the highest enlightenment with our surroundings and beauty of this planet if offers us.

I have been watching an amazing documentary called "500 Nations" on the history of Native Americans in North and South America. Its been very enlightening.

Sorry. I ran across the cartoon by accident and just thought I'd share.

Like you say, it's truly sick, but still funny in its own way.

After all, the whole story was make-believe anyway. So why not?

I used to have Netflix and I'm thinking about getting it again for the winter. I don't have cable or even an antenna, so I can only watch DVD or VHS tapes.

Sometimes I feel like I'm still living in the dark ages.

I can't get TV here, and I can't even get DSL, so I can't even watch Youtube!

The only thing I can get is DVD and VHS rentals.

Yes, its on dvd but I believe you can watch it online for free. Just google the title. Oh, but if you can't watch Youtube you probably can't see this.

I got it from Netflix. Its a series of about 8 dvds. I don't have TV either. I only watch dvds and videos that I buy or rent from Netflix. I love Netflix.

Are these videos hosted by Kevin Costner? If so then I have seen them. If not then I will check it out. It is truly fascinating to see what we have discovered from history.

I also enjoy Native American folklore tales or children stories. Professor Joseph Campbell spent half of his life finding native american stories to share in his books and videos. I am trying to collect them myself.

I have been collecting children and folklore tales around the world for some time now. I think there is much wisdom to be read from it and it is also entertaining, fascinating, and relaxing for me.

It sure beats all these reality shows they have in today's television. One is better off watching from dvds these days anyway unless you go to PBS or the Learning Channel that offer little commercial interuptions.

Of course this is just my opinion. Everyone has different thoughts on today's televisions anyway.

Yes, I haven't really missed regular television at all. I guess that's why I just haven't bothered to get cable even though I could. Maybe when I've watched all the dvds that Netflix has I will get it. Maybe not. Maybe I will just start all over and watch the videos again.
