The last few months I have been keeping busy with my pet peeve projects. I had alot of fun doing them and even got a few Minglers involved in a couple of projects to keep it entertaining.

They are all published on a self publishing online company that anyone can join and use. It is called www.lulu.com and all you do is type in the search bar the title and it should appear. It is all free!

Here is the list thus far:

The Big Red Book of Romance - It is a Mingle2 community effort creating subjects on romance. It is a little over 100 pages. There are email letters of advice I did on former Minglers, dating advice, relationship advice, book reviews, game reviews on romance, poems and short stories, etc. etc.

The Black Dragon Magazine - It is a Mingle2 community effort creating subjects on Fantasy. It has over 300 pages of which half of the book presents fantasy illustrations I drew and colored on Adobe Photoshop over the years. There is a crossword puzzle, riddles, medieval history, short stories, author and game reviews, and poems to read.

The Green Dragon's Inn online RPG introductory - This is a roleplaying game played in the game forum. It was very popular and had up to 80 players participating in this dungeon and dragons type game. I wrote a little about the tavern itself and how it all started. It is a memory piece especially for those who had once played the game in the game forum.

Boromir's Departure Part 1 - A Green Dragon's Inn Adventure - The first short story interactive book that tells the tale of a barkeep who always wanted to be an adventurer.

Boromir versus Demon Part 2 - A Green Dragon's Inn Adventure - Boromir made friends quickly on the first day of his adventure and what a friend he made. Who would ever think he would stumble upon a famous bounty hunter by the name of Maestron? There they go deep into the mountains to save a village from destruction by a lesser demon. A 49 interactive game book that offers many solutions to the troubles ahead.

The Sacred Woods of Silvernarion - 30 chapters of a fantasy story of how a male wood elf and a female human fall in love and eventually realize they are chosen to save the world from destruction. The complete book will have 60 chapters and the title will be called "The Secrets of the Stone Henge". The book is actually complete. I am just working on the cover. It is a painting I am working on that shows one half of the stone henge as we see it today and the other half with a sacred tree inside and the stone henge in much better condition. Around the tree are pixies flying, giggling, and teasing everyone.

So this is what I have completed. I am now taking a break on Fantasy for at least for a few months so more ideas can marinade for future stories that the Lands of Bavidirian may have. laugh

My newest pet peeve project is to write a adventure of Buddha. I know, I know you are thinking - how many buddha books are there already? Well to tell you the truth let alone on lulu.com there are 40 pages of buddha books, so that indicates thousands upon thousands of books on buddha has already been written in many formats.

So why write another one?

I have looked for endless days for a Buddha Adventure book. Nothing! Zero! There is nothing there that shows a book to where you personally representing the Buddha traveling in Northeastern India as it was then.

I plan to make the history into a storybook that allows you as the reader to experience how it could have been to be Buddha. At the same time I teach the 4 noble paths, the eightfold paths, the middle way of dharma, including lessons and morales on compassion, kindness, how to deal with racism, prejudice, violence, and so forth.

They are interactive gamebooks that you as the reader will be confronted with situations and then you choose what you would do in that situation. In other words depending on the decision you make you turn to a certain page in the book to see the results of your decision or action. So the story has many different endings for you and can be very educational.

It will be a fun project to see how many will take the courage to pick up such a book and see their results on decisions made and how Buddha may have reacted in those situations based on his beliefs and teachings.

It would be nice if my finished project could be available on a website with interlinking involved to read without downloading it on pdf format. Of course my html skills are zero! I have no concept for programming or scripting. It is pathetic. I mean I can't even post a picture on mingle2. Maybe it is better that way, because that is what I would only be doing all day long on every thread Mingle2 haslaugh It surely would get me kicked off for harassmentlaugh

There's never enough time for these things.

I started a theme song for the Land of Bavidarian and never finished it.

Wow all the things you did for the fantasy world I am very grateful James. I noticed the website page isn't available anymore. I guess you pulled it down. I don't blame you. I don't think anyone was looking at it anyway besides me.laugh

It was fun while it lasted and it brought good memories that is for sure. laugh

In the end I sort of put all the memories in the The Black Dragon Magazine as a ending of it all to keep as memories.

It is a great tune you started and a nice deep voice you have with the song. drinker

Actually my ISP changed my URL. grumble

Most everything is still up, it just has a different URL now.

The Green Dragon's Inn

Calliope

Warrior Womman

Leah's Revenge

http://users.csonline.net/designer/ideas/leah.htm

Who are you?

Different Kind of Wench

http://users.csonline.net/designer/ideas/dkw.htm

Jenni

http://users.csonline.net/designer/ideas/jenni.htm

I almost have enough material here to make an albumn hum?

These all came out of just goofing around on these forums.

Most of these songs are about people on these forums (or characters they played in your fantasy games)

There's also these:

The four Eras, Dawn, Luminescence, Twilight, and Darkness.

(The music for these is pretty sick though, or at least my narations is laugh ).

http://users.csonline.net/designer/scrolls/dawn.htm

I think I could do these much better now.

I can't believe I wrote all this music. I wrote every single note of these orchestrations. Take my voice out of it and they ain't too bad. bigsmile

(P.S. If anyone listens to these listen to the "naked music files")

That was a fun project. But it was kind of lonely doing it all alone. I never did do the Era of Darkness I guess.

Yeah it's still up. Just the URL got changed.

I should take it down though huh?

Oh no I wouldn't take it down. I mean I enjoy them. I might be the only one enjoying them thoughlaugh

I personally enjoy them alot for it allows me to imagine this fantasy world I have been working on for over 5 years. Well I take large breaks from it to get new ideas, but nevertheless a neverending project until I die. laugh

I mean if it isn't costing you anything then no don't take it down!

You did great. It is like you created a album actually.laugh

Thank you LightVoice.

Lily Petal actually posted that Peace-Spirit symbol orginally. I liked it so I searched for the organization that created it and then just re-posted the picture with a link to their web page.

Thank you very much for your comments, it makes me feel good to know that my posts have a positive affect on some people. flowers

I do know that some people view me as a horrible 'anti-Christian' which isn't really true. And other's think I'm a science heretic.
But in reality I'm just a big teddy bear that casts a scary shadow. bigsmile

James they are just ignorant and set in their ways. It is ashame they can't have open views on different idealogies.

I agree on everything you say in the science and religion forum and I actually understand it. Well most of it in the science. Not everything to tell you the truth, but the religion forum I can hang. I understand that without a problem. laugh drinker

There are times when our faith is tested. Sometimes it feels like All That Is is testing us beyond our endurance. That no matter how hard we try we're going to fall flat on our faces and lay there in the dirt for awhile.
When that happens, when you feel so totally alone stop for a moment and feel. Just feel. The air moving in and out of your lungs, the soft breeze across your skin, your heartbeat. Then you will KNOW in your heart of hearts that you're not alone at all.
I believe that WE wall ourselves off from Them. We are screaming so loudly for what we want that we can't hear Them offering us what we need. Only in that moment of silence can we hear Them. When we finally tire ourselves out like a two year old pitching a fit and fall into the quiet can we hear what They have to say.
If you ever need a shoulder to lean against, or a hand to help you get back up, don't hesitate to reach out, to me, to a friend, to an online friend you've never met. There are times we just need the human to human contact, whether it's a text message, phone call, email or a hug. I think we've gotten away from that.
People are so independent (I know I am) and stubborn. But I think that's why there are threads like this one. Someone is given a little nudge. They may never know the good they've done for a stranger just passing through.

Bright blessings to you all flowerforyou

I know a witch, her name is Ruth
I met her in a psychic booth
She read my fortune from the great tarot

She told me that I'd find a wife
but maybe not within this life
and then she disappeared without a glow

~~~
She moves around and takes her girls
and all the magick wands they twirl
for in the end their magick's in their souls
They chant their incantations
with melodious vibrations
to drive away the ogres and the ghouls
~~~

Now they're in their new abode
writing chants of rhyming ode
she casts a magic circle with her broom

They all join hands and chant in praise
adding to the force they raise
to purify and sanctify the room

~~~
Faeries flutter through the walls
sprinkling stardust in their halls
transforming what was once a lifeless house
Incense burns to smudge the ghosts
of any lingering evil hosts
her cat dispels the last remaining mouse
~~~

The Goddess sends her moonlight in
to fill the home with sacred yin
Earth and Air reverberate with life

Ruth responds with arms raised high
her athame held toward the sky
Fire and flame infuse the sacred knife

~~~
Passions flow without restraint
her body glows like a pious saint
her thoughts imbued to all that they pervade
She points her knife toward the Earth
surrendering for all she's worth
Magick Water saturates the blade
~~~

She flings her arms out from her sides
and spins in widdershins
Cutting loose the cone of light to cast into the night
The magick circle soars toward the sky

Lovers see a shooting star as it appears from where they are
A streak of light that fills the night that skeptics call bizarre
