Both looks and personality are important.
I believe its 50/50. Most of the time, when you see someone you want to talk to, its based on looks. Esp if they havent opened up their mouth to say hi yet. Unless you are just chatting with a stranger, THEN decide you want to date them AFTER you know them. But if you are at a bar, and see someone across the room-and you decide you want to talk..that was based on looks.

i feel looks dont mean nothing cause when you are with somone its how they make you feel and how they make your heart feel, you can be so buetiful but if you are out side you might be ugly inside but when you go for the heart and whats in it you can never go wrong love is such a buetiful thing but can also turn on you and be the worst and hurts and pain its what on the inside i think great topic thanks

But I was wondering when you look for a partner online like this, are you looking for what they look like, or are you trying to get to know them?


i guess it's a little bit of both.

i don't scan profiles for nearby members any longer but, when i did, sure it's the physical that catches your eye. however, if they open their mouth and nothing much interesting comes out, or if their profile has but a few sparsely spaced words on it, a date between us probably won't happen.
