Topic: I think I've just had an Epiphany.

I've been trying to understand why a certain group of women (don't want to point any fingers) appears to dislike me. I speak to this group the exact same way I speak to any woman. I say hello, give them some kind of complement and shake hands. But, this one group seems to view me with suspicion. Anyway, I think I've found my answer. It's that this group of women have low self esteem. So, when I tell them they are pretty, they assume I am not being truthful and I have some other motive than just being a friendly, social fella. Any thoughts?

You can't please everyone. You need to just be you and let the ladies figure it out from there.

perhaps it's only one in the group who dislikes you - for whatever reason - yet has relayed that information to the others, who probably have no mind of their own and just follow along to please their friend?

Tell them they are ugly and see what happens. Reverse psychology doesn't always turn out so well lol

maybe they do have a bit of low self esteem..or arent told that often so they may feel a bit embarrased, perhaps thay cant just say thank you, for they want you to continue on with your compliments?

hmmm... Women who do not respond to my polite charms have low self-esteem. Not saying you are incorrect, just the way you say it seems a little weird.

Say what you honestly feel and if someone as a problem with it just move on you can't do anything about it. You can't please everyone so don't hit the fan if one does not agree with your comments.

I've actually met TS...& will have to say that he's a LOT nicer in person than his profile or some of his threads may imply... So, my question is: Are these women in cyber or RL?
