Topic: How would you react? | |
---|---|
This is an open question for all to answer I would like it if we could stay on topic though. I would like to know the typical reaction of finding out on a first or initial date that your date was armed. And was not a member of law enforcement or security.
Maybe you discovered it during the act of hugging them or something. |

If law enforcement, its cool. Dated a state trooper for a while.
If not law enforcement, would wonder about why so paranoid? |

I live in a state where it's legal to carry concealed if you have a permit, so it happens a lot. It doesn't bother me, but I grew up as the daughter of a cop so am used to people toting guns.

It would definitely alarm me, red flags all over the place! Did this happen, did you question him, more red flags cause he'd be prepared with answers...I say first and last date. RUN!

I do remember your post the other day, so I know this is important to you.
However, for a first meeting I would be uncomfortable because he is a stranger to me... I would think on a first meting one would be sensitive to that and not feel the need to carry till we knew each other and there was an understanding, provided there is a second date of course. jmo |

As an ex-cop, and an ex-soldier, I L-O-V-E a woman that knows the value of a good sidearm. I'd ask quickly if she has a badge, or a permit to carry. If so, I'd ask to see it- being the nosy ex-cop, ex-soldier that I am. If not... I'm audi, with a call to 911 to follow quickly. I've seen to many people shot dead. Simple enuff.
