I tried to tell everyone that he was NO GOOD, and a lying scum-bag, and it's a shame, that he had to lie, and "tell you what you wanted to hear"...just to get a vote.

He did not win the election on truth, he won on deceit!!!!

I still like him.

You liked him being deceitful to us all? I hope you are kidding!

He's been keeping more of his campaign promises then he hasn't.

I also see him as working very hard to try to correct a bad situation.

Would you rather have a president who only keeps some of his promises, or who keeps ALL of them?

I like a president who trys as hard as the one we have now. We will never have a president that keeps all promises, ever. I grew up in the real world where not all promises were kept or could have been kept as things changed..

so I guess the end result doesn't matter...as long as he's trying...he's been a disaster...a total failure...the direction he's taking this country is being rejected...by more Americans each and every day...

yes I believe I have heard the rethoric on the right...

Wow, some of you spend way to much time with anger in your hearts and not enough passion to make a difference. Just because somebody, including people on TV, say something does not make it true. It also does not make it untrue. By talking ****, you only show your lack of care to live in a better world. I like Obama, but I dont necessarily agree with everthing he has proposed or the Democrats. But he is a good man, and he speaks from the heart. The problem is President or not, there are other influences that prevent him from actually doing what he needs to, Repubs and Democs. Its because of people that fail to give a chance and help push for better things that causes this failure. It is the people that fail if he does.

He's not perfect, but all this BS about his birth certificate and that he ruined the economy..? Get a life, stop crying and make a ****ing difference in the world.

Indeed.

I do though want to point out that this can easily be directed at the Obama supporters who are sitting back expecting him to solve these problems.

I do agree that all too often, when people criticize, they look at the minute details, so miniscule that they have little to no affect on the big picture.

Better an Obamanation than a Bushnation

Better an American Nation then either of the above...

and Bush can never again 'nation' cause he's done.

No further presidential office for him.

When this is also true of Obama...

People will start in on the next one... names, nastyness, its all his fault...

and the current crop of theives will be replaced with new better models.

Health care has been a wreck for decades, he can't do anything to make it worse than it already is.

Personally I think people have gotten so cynical they would not recognize the good guy when they had one.

I am not prepared to give up on this president and I am not prepared to give up on life, period. I am doing my part not to be part of the problem, it's all I can do. That and wait to see what happens, just like everyone else here. I don't think seeing nasty things said about him on a daily basis is helping to stay positive. Guess I might need to take a break..

I agree, but i don't think the good guy ever got into office.

Maybe i'm smarter than him, or maybe i have better intentions, but why hasn't he even tried to put congress on social security, or medicare, etc.?

This i find dissapointing, and you should too.

Your saying that the president has the authority to put congress on social security and medicare? What I find disappointing is that the private sector has shown they can't be trusted in most intances either.

So you are smarter and have better intentions. Ok then go for it, let me here how you would handle it.

He alone doesn't. But lets say he encourages this and makes it public. The people then pressure the house to write the bill, which it would be written, because there are at least a couple decent members in the house.

Then they vote on it. Uh oh, now we have to pay attention to who voted it through. This is the flaw of the plan because people are too self absorbed in their own personal dramas to pay attention to the well being of the nation.

But what it would to, for the people that like to think, is point out who wants to represent the people, and who doesn't. We would now know who not to vote for. After a few times bringing this up, it would pass.

And there is my answer. This is where i have better intentions, and/or am smarter than a harvard grad lawyer.

If congress was put on the system, and made to live as an average person, you would find a miracle... They would fix it in a timely manner, and fix it effeciently.

Next, i would save the economy, by, get this, living within our budget. Cool huh? Pull troops out of everywhere, sell the land back. Focus on defense rather than offense, and abolish the federal reserve. That's two thirds of our spending. The savings to go toward our national debt, our healthcare system, and tax cuts.

Next i would revamp the department of education in a hurry. Power in that branch definitely needs to be broken up.

Presidents day.
Um let me check my schedule.
Keeping America safe (I am commander in chief).
Making sure our troops are ok.(I AM commander in chief).
Getting this economy going (my constiuents are WE the People - they need jobs and opportunities).
Coordinating things with other world leaders (this planet is darn small - requires at lot of effort to determine who you can work with and which ones are idiots).
Manage the rest of government... (wonder if he snarls at their greed and corruption)
Listen to the voices of the people. (even the ones that don't like me - because my decisions effect all of them - and they effect my future)

Along with lots of other junk.

Were he got time to piddle around with things of low priority.

Congress decides on such laws anyway... You want Congress to
do something you put people in Congress that WILL, you don't expect the president to do it.

Hi Winx...good to see I guess we all have to like something...top of the crop, or the bottom of the barrel(Obama)! Have a good night...

Yep, he sure is closer to the top of the crop then Bush was.

I'd like to point something out to you if I may. Do you realize, that Obama is actually the 6th cousin to former vice president Dick Cheney? Think about that for a second, what does that tell you?

Furthermore, he's not even legally eligible to be President, he was never born here to begin with! The whole thing is a lie.

Who Obama is distantly related to tells me nothing. Even if you knew my 2nd cousins, you would not anything about me.

Obama has proven that he was born in Hawaii.

Hell, Im 6th cousin with most of you I'm sure, lol. I think (not saying who) that many people just cant handle a black man in the white house. I know people are gonna say no no no to that statement, because racisim doesnt exsist anymore, right?
