As a side note...

Many years ago I was listening to the syndicated radio program Coast2Coast with Art Bell and he would do shows called "Time Lines" that were brilliant.

The premise was that if Time Travel is EVER invented, then there MUST be a possibility that there is a time traveler in this time right now. He put out an open invitation for any time travelers to call in and give their story.

Best 3 hours of radio I ever heard. :)

If you could only see the past but not be able to interact( say if you were out of phase with the current time) I'd like to visit some Historical events. When Jesus turned water into wine, I'd be such a hit at parties... Did Oswald really do it? Who built those pyramids? Put and end to crop circles. The first girl I asked out and said No, was she really washing her hair that day? questions so many questions bigsmile there would be a the butterfly effect to consider if you could interact with the past. That would be a bad idea. You can't learn from the past if you could change it. Also if you could erase mistakes taking risks would no longer have meaning.

Yes I would like to hang around Rome in the days of Caesar and learn the truth about how the Christian religion was created. Of course knowing the truth about History might be extremely frustrating. No one would believe you. I would like to know if the guy they claim was Hitler was really him or a body double. Rumor has it that Hitler and some of his top aids escaped to South America. There is where the 'fourth reich" was formed.

Jim Marrs:The Rise of the Fourth Reich

"Throw out everything you think you know about history. Close the approved textbooks, turn off the corporate mass media, and whatever you do, don't believe anything you hear from the government—The Rise of the Fourth Reich reveals the truth about American power. In this explosive new book, the legendary Jim Marrs, author of the underground bestseller Rule by Secrecy, reveals the frighteningly real possibility that today the United States is becoming the Fourth Reich, the continuation of an ideology thought to have been vanquished more than a half century ago."

The premise:

Reality is a multidimensional matrix of probabilities and events being experienced by observers throughout time.

You discovered a time machine.

How would you use it?

Well after checking for a manual and any kind of instructions. Then I'd set it to RANDOM and see where I went.

Maybe I'd grab a couple of friends to come with too. Isn't time travel better with friends?bigsmile

Wouldn't it be a shame if the person who published that book --under the pseudoname of Jim Marr -- really turned out to be a special government agent after all ? ? ?

If I could travel in time, I'd go back tonight and recapture a few special moments and call it good. I don't want to change anything and don't want to live in the past...I just want to have another opportunity to briefly cherish things past.

If I could time travel, I'd heavily guard the machine so that no one could pass through and change the event of Christ coming and dying for us.

If I could time travel, I'd heavily guard the machine so that no one could pass through and change the event of Christ coming and dying for us.

Assuming the story of Christ is true:

So if you could go back in time to the time of Christ, you would not try to save him? You would probably sell him for 30 pieces of silver to make sure he died for your sins! You would stop anyone from trying to save him?

What if his true mission was to spread the gospel and teach people how to heal others? What if the story about him dieing for your sins is just a lie to cover up the injustice of killing a man of God?

Your attitude is equal to killing him yourself as a sacrifice to save your own butt. I find it very selfish and distasteful.

I don't like human sacrifice or animal sacrifice for the sake of some blood thirsty God. That sounds like the reptilian over lords, sons of the snake people.
