In my opinion, no. But for some, the only "real" love is that first rush of infatuation, which doesn't really last. But once that's over, they're on to the next. For me, the rush is great but I would far rather have the deepness, the intimacy, the stability of something more longer-lasting. To me, it's more meaningful. aww, why aren't men like u??? Some are! That's right |

love is what you make it. if what you dream love should be, and you don't have that in real life, then you need to work on it. if the love you share in real life, is better than what you dream, then you are truely blessed. i am truely blessed. i love my angel, and our love far exceeds and dream. |

Is the illusion of love better than the reality of love itself? In other words, does the best romance exist in our dreams and not in real life? I think it depends on the person...Some people are naturally dreamers, some people are more practical. I'm a dreamer, so guys sometimes fall short of the sexy pirate escapades in my head...But I also know that love is what you make of it. So unless I pursue a sexy pirate I won't get that. Love is hard work and partnership which we should all remember needs a lot of time and understanding. (I don't have a fetish about pirates, it's just an example) Yeah, you know you like sexy pirates |

nothing is perfect, not even love. It take work just like ever thing else.
Relationships can seem perfect but there is always something that could be better. |

The illusion of love, or fantasy is always better because we can control it, have it anyway with want it. Obviously it doesn't work that way when there is another person involved other than our imagination. We need to keep ourselves in check. Learning unconditional love helps... unconditional love would never ask what we sometimes ask from each other

Is the illusion of love better than the reality of love itself? In other words, does the best romance exist in our dreams and not in real life? The illusion is always better than the reality. Just ask all those foolish people out there who really believe that there is one perfect person out there looking for them. The middle of the road guys, such as myself, can thank Hallmark and the candy industry ( Valentine's Day ) for convincing women that perfection is out there. |
