Many of us claim to be suckers for romance. But I think that romance is a very subjective concept and comes in many forms. What kinds of things are romantic to you?

For me, its thoughtful gestures, like a neck and should massage, a moonlight picnic, or leaving me a card on the seat of my car for me to find on my way to work in the morning.

Laying in the candle light...gasping for air....trying to control my heart rate...covered in cooling sweat as I whisper..."You **** like my sister"

 Romantic is... holding hands

knowing looks

middle of the night calls

pillow talk

bubblebaths

comfortable silences

playing footsies

sharing ice cream

kissing

I could go on and on...

I agree...holding hands is romantic. It says a lot about a couple when they want to touch as much as possible.

How's this?

4th of July. Sitting near a large body of water and watching fireworks displays in the distance.

I definitely agree a couple pages back, waking up to the one you love, watchin her eyes open softly and smile ever so gently, and although our breath is both off-key, we manage a kiss before even thinking about getting up.

omfg, not enough time nor space in this site for me to type what I think is romantic.

Readers digest condensed version;
soft music, candles, fireplace, strawberries + whippedcream, etc.

To show one you care in all ways and not just one way. I feel the little simple things in life go a long way,you should desire your partner and show it and they should feel desired and loved by you.

A 80-something year old man and a 80-something year old woman sitting with their arms around eachother watching the sun set.

Hope I live that long and someone say that about me.

I agree with Suz...being romantic is showing you care in the little things that you do and say on any given day not just certain holidays. To me the little things mean so much moreflowers

TOTALLY!

But anything involving books... yeahhhh...
