Many of us claim to be suckers for romance. But I think that romance is a very subjective concept and comes in many forms. What kinds of things are romantic to you? For me, its thoughtful gestures, like a neck and should massage, a moonlight picnic, or leaving me a card on the seat of my car for me to find on my way to work in the morning. I'm tired of it. |

Gossip...when I am truly romantic...I know what I am doing....
After looking into her smiling eyes...I dress to the Nines and take her to somewhere stupid and quiet...museum...art gallery...a good place to hear her talk. Then head home to cook something nice and light (I have had four years of cooking school...I am no joke in the kitchen)...a bit of candle light and Bob Marley softly playing. Then pour a few mixed drinks...spark a left-handed smoke... sit out under the cooling night sky...recite poetry....talk about the small things that made us who we are....laughing together...and sharing that comfortable silence when words ain't really needed. Then off to bed. A slow and deep footies to scalp message for her...(I am GOOD at message)...then...sex/ no sex...doesn't matter... Waking up and seeing her sleeping contentedly...happily and comfortably snuggled to me.... That is the romantic part for me....seeing her sleepily wake up to smile at me. |
