Or is that simply a line we feed to ourselves and others to make people feel better, give them false sense of hope? Is it just as likely some are condemned to live a life alone either by themselves or a higher power as some sort of punishment for past actions? I am on the fence on this one. I suppose a sense of hope, even a false one, is better than no hope at all. Oh sure there is one person out there for everyone...they just have to wade through the millions in order to find them. There is someone out there even for me, but I don't feel like wading through millions of people to find them. Going on three dates a week for the rest of my life I would find them when I turned 58. |

I am fully aware that there may not be anyone for me and that I am mainly responsible for that... I'm ok with it b/c "if" it's meant to be it will be, I won't settle just to be with someone... oh I believe it...I just think my one is in hiding (in the witness protection program) Not any more, They released me. I am living in Missouri now.. COME ON OVER!!! Sure there is someone for everyone. I have seen so many of they ugliest and nastiest people find partners, I have seen really pretty people with *I'm a God/Goddess* personality find someone. Thr trick is finding someone that is willing to share their life with us and share our life with , Without them wanting to rule us of take over our life. I am able to live my life and do just fine without a Mommy or a ruler. There is someone for everyone, we just need to know beforehand what we want, so they don't just pass us by without even realizing it. |

I definitely believe that there are special people for each of us. But what I am not sure about is if there is more than one in a lifetime. I was 35 before I met "the one". We had eleven years together before he died of cancer. I would not swap a moment of what we had, he was my soulmate but now I am lost. So I need to know if there I can possible be that lucky again. So that is why I am not out there searching again. So keep the faith..... |

Do you know how long it would take to wade through 3.5 billion people? Dating three times a week it would take you roughly 40 or so years with only a million.
