The incredible risks taken by people of the time.
Could you imagine if California decided that armed warfare was required to break away from the U.S. The incredible concept that the People have the power, which is vested in its representatives in government. That for being such a young nation the amount influence and power the U.S. wields in the world. |

This is the day that a group of men signed the most important document in this country's history. The document which basically told England to kiss off, that the people of this 'colony' would no longer be governed by a country from across the pond. That we could take care of ourselves an no longer needed some King to do it.

Its the day I relax and celebrate my freedoms that I fought for. The same freedoms that my forefathers fought and died for. July 4th. Its a celebration of independence from tyranny and persecution and censor of free thought and free will. It is a great day.

Means the Americans will be having some crazy fireworks when I head to Buffalo this weekend...hopefully!

Today represents Americas Birth and the day when America broke free from the tyranny of England at the time. July 4th is a day to remember those who put their lives on the line for this country and those who gave their lives for this country. Today is one of 365 days to appreciate this great country and our bill of rights. Today is a great day to celebrate our freedoms and what better way to do so than with gunfire, I will celebrate at the gun range! Thank you so much for those of you who served and may everyone have a safe and happy 4th

for me, it's family day.
slow, relaxed...grilling, playing, running around...frisbee, swimming, whatnot. it's cards with the kids before yummy veggie burgers while watching the lights jump in the sky and the beauteous looks on the kiddies' faces... |

It means being thankful we don't live in a place with an oppressive government. Despite all our complaints about Republicans/Democrats, the economy, stupid laws they pass..
We're still one of the better nations on the planet. Although Western Europe, Canada, and Japan aren't bad either. But thats largely thanks to the US model. And can't forget to be thankful about the good barbeques and fireworks either. |

I am proud to be a member of this great nation. This day always reminds me of the struggles people have gone through to create what they hoped would be a flourishing nation. It reminds me of the error of our ways. Also the fact that we are a nation that took in people from all walks of life and backgrounds to form this nation that we have. Built on the concept of equality and opportunity. We haven't quite reached this goal yet but we are still trying.

It's a day to remember Our amazingly colorful Heritage & the Courageous People who fought for Freedom  throughout the ages & who founded this Country We must Never forget God in all that we do  holding near & dear the sovereign Principles established in the forming of this Great Country Honor Our Troops and to be thankful that we are free and to never forget to honor & respect the Men & Women in Our United States Miitary who place themselves between us & the enemy  to daily insure our Freedom & they do it with their absolute All  nice to see you back Kyle. ..Thanks for serving for my Freedom Buddy and thanks to all our Soldiers Past Present & Future  |

I'm not very political but i know this state leads the way in many things
