of course they do and they say it too

when your cat looks at you and blinks long and slow they are saying "I love you"

My cats love the hand as some love their godthing.

For the hand bringith all things. The hand causith the food to appear. It makith the water to flow. It givith comfort when good and bringith pain when mischief is made. It givith squeaky and jingly toys for thy own joy.
For the hand bringith all things.

My dog believeth this as well!

I've seen dogs that were together since pups, had youngins, and grew old together. When one passed, the other would often become restless, looking for the other one, and stop eating/drinking. It's just the same as a doggie "I do".

Absolutely, some species only have one mate for life, I'd like to think that's love... My dog, I know he loves me....

orrr...

animals just want you to think that so that they keep getting fed. maybe they're just little opportunists who play off of human emotions.

that said, i don't give a hoot if my pets love me, what matters is that i love them and they don't seem to mind me around most of the time.

:heart: Do you think animals experience love?:heart:

Most definitely.

All Animals have a soul....and part of what the soul consists of ,are the emotions .

Not too long ago,I watched a mother cow sit by her new born calf......and just softly moooo for several days.... barely eating.

Her calf was born crippled due to severe drought in our area just recently...

and the mother cow would just sit all day long with her baby calf and moooo and moo and moo.....:cry:

I could just hear the pleading tone in her voice .....
if was as if she were saying to her baby calf,

" baby..get up...get up...come on now...just try...just try.":heart::heart::heart:

After a couple of days, I and others tried to help the calf walk.....we first put the very upset mother cow in the pen where she could watch us....

the mother cow calmed down after awhile......I think she sensed we were trying to help her calf....and later on , went on to graze.

Not too long after though, the calf died.tears

Another incident of animals having
emotions:

The drought caused several cows to be down....unable to get up anymore...:cry:

and other cows would just mosey on by the cows that were down ....and lick their faces....sometimes for almost half an hour.../:heart:

Yes.....animals definitely have emotions...and feel love. :heart::heart::heart:

I have a couple of ex-bf's like that. I think I'd take the animals. Cheaper in the long run and less BS...

Considering the sheer amount of people who say "I love you" for various reasons, I don't think _we_ even know what love really is...
