Hey Fanta, what would you think of a two-year manditory service in the military after highschool, where everyone is trained to use firearms. Upon completion of this service, you are given a military issued rifle with 500 rounds,and a military issued sidearm with 100 rounds, and a concealed carry permit...? Only for Grunts and above! Let's face it their are two Armies! Frontline Units and those who support frontline units! Follow Me! You do have a point there...  can you guys wait until after the weekend for me???   Follow Me is the battle cry for The US Army Infantry Rose. As The Point of the spear is for the Marines! We are the front most Units in a war. Everyone else follows our path. Ya beat me to it Fanta!!! We are few! Only 10% of the entire Army are Infantrymen!

When I was in, all troops, no matter what their future MOS, were potential grunts. We all trained on at least the M-16, 50cal, granades and launchers, and 45 Colt. I say, train them all to shoot and defend. Wut's up wid da' follow me? Everyone is Infantry! Not even!

Come on now. We all know we are SUPPOSED to keep our guns in a gun cabinet and locked. Especially if there are kids in the house. Now..I will not try and kid you. We never did those things back when. They were always loaded and ready for whatever. Who is gonna take a knife to a gun fight?? Whatever. I do keep a knife close to my bed. In my drawer. My bat next to that. It is only for if I hear something at the door in the living room. But...I must tell you..if someone breaks into my house...the whole damn neighborhood will know it. My 5 chihuahuas will scare us all awake. No thank you. I have enough fear of wondering which people are carrying guns around me...too be giving it too much thought about them coming in and getting me. I am in more fear in my car at the store or in a parking lot. Kat Better have a good hiding spot for you and your family, just in case some crazy guy breaks in and is armed... I am more worried about being shot in the yard..the street...my car...the store... Kat |
