Hmm 72 hours of labor with my first born
Natural childbirth

Orrrrrrrrrrr possibly the 38 hours of labor
With my last( also natural Child Birth)

the wisdom teeth top up there

broken collar bone at 16,, that sucked
No body surfing that summer

Cancer, Chemo I can say painful along with the
Many surgeries that followed and have followed
Since my first Diagnosis…

The Loss of my Mother to this day was and shall
Remain the most painful event of my life,,,

I think pain can be subjective...I was diagnosed at age 14 with a degenerative joint & bone disease...some can handle more pain than others...I'd like to think I can handle a lot...

having flying lessons from the seat of my bicycle wasn't fun; broken collar bone, scrapes down the side of my head and face, rather painful. but most of you really do have that beat.

Jumping off a ladder straight on to one of these, I still have scar tissue and it still hurts two years later! I had no footwear on at the time.

in the butt. And a tad more than a boil. Required surgery to remove the bad tissue followed by 4 weeks of having the wound packed.

When I delivered my second daughter without any anesthesia. I was in labor for under 2 hours, pushed three times and delivered her in 4 minutes. Let's see if any of you guys could handle that type of pain. I thought not.laugh

As a Medical Corpsman in 1969, our unit was over run and a green set off a Claymore mine that threw me many feet in the air. I didn't feel anything for a few minutes, but then the pain was so intense. I gave myself 2 amps of Morphine and it didn't touch the pain. I had split my breastbone up the middle, took out part of my stomach, took out one rib and broke 10 more, lost my spleen and ripped many muscles. I was put into a coma for a week because the pain was too intense.

*sighs*

as i share this disorder, i'd have to agree with you. my pain tolerance is incredibly high. i even pulled one of my own molars with no anesthetic.

for me, state of mind is critical.

the worst pain i've ever been in was following the suicide of my fiance'. my mind was in a very dark place, and i couldn't shut out my body anymore...the worst year of my entire life.

Gunshot wound chest

chest tube, twice cause they screwed up the first one

Cluster and Migraine headaches

Kidney Stones

and yep

Those darn toothaches

Have to agree with one poster, watching my daughter choke on a piece of candy was scary and painful. I tried the H maneuver to no avail, the hospital was two blocks away and we were already in the car, I threw it in drive and punched it, when I did the force caused her to spit it out, that was freaky.

That darn shot between my toes for an ingrown toenail while not near the most painful didn't feel good at all, and the infection after the surgery pretty much sucked as well

Every now and then I get a migraine that hurts more than anything. The world tilts, the room spins and I want to pull my eye out of its socket to give an escape route to whatever it is that is excavating my brain.
