i received this email from her & feel the need to share it with all of you ..
Okay folks, this is real and if you've never been political before, here's your chance to make your voice heard. I just did it and it will literally take less than five minutes of your time! The U.S. house and senate are about to vote (in a week and a half!) on a law that will OUTLAW ORGANIC FARMING!! Main backer is (of course) Monsanto chemical and engineering giant corporation. This bill will require organic farms to use specific fertilizers and POISONOUS insect sprays dictated by the newly formed agency to "make sure there is no danger to the public food supply". This will include back yard gardens that grow food only for family use. If this passes. no more heirloom clean seeds but only Monsanto genetically altered seeds that are now showing up with UNEXPECTED DISEASES in humans! There is an enormous rush to get this into law within the next two weeks before the people realize what's happening. The insane bill is called "Food Safety and Modernization Act (Bill HR 875) Call Congressman Tom McClintock's office and tell them (politely) you'd like to vote NO on this bill. Man..I was never that politically active before 
but there are soo many evil money hungry people out there 
they will stop at nothing to obtain all the world's money 
while they kill everyone & everything around them
& it is so prevalent it is almost getting to be acceptable 
and we cannot let that happen ...,

You cannot have an organic garden without using organic methods, which means no harmful chemicals and pesticides. I believe that the email you received is bogus. Organic farming is getting pretty big and there are very strict rules before you can call it "organic"

There are soo many things hidden from the average everyday person's eyes like you and me who are not directly involved in the Natural Food industry If you could only talk to my Daughter and her co workers for a short while and sit in on their meetings, you would be amazed.. 
Your mind, heart & logic would be staggered
as to what is going on and what we are up against 
But STILL Brave Honest Upright Men and Women Live & Move About

Quiet, Thanks for the link. Read through Sec. 2 regarding the purpose of the Law. There is nothing there targeting organically grown food. Rather the purpose of the law is to provide greater safe guards for our food supply.
