race baiting? how republican. I would suspect this politician was playing to the popular unrest in his own country. Im sure it was a calculated move on his part. As predicted his home town cheered his courage and blunt assessment, after all its realy an accurate assessment what exactly is not accurate? One of course would have to have a background in history to realy understand his statement and a some what sophisticated mind not to make a snap judgment.

“This crisis was caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes, who before the crisis appeared to know everything and now demonstrate that they know nothing.”
He added: “I do not know any black or indigenous bankers so I can only say [it is wrong] that this part of mankind which is victimised more than any other should pay for the crisis.” -President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Brazil It seems all of humanity looks for those they consider to be less then them that have to be the reason for all the ills in the world. |

Perhaps he can follow Zimbabwe's goverment and kill or kick out all the white people.Since the whites left inflation has risen to over 1,000% a year, people have starved, the country has turned into nothing but a garbage can,and the government is so desperate to fight off inflation they released a one trillion dollar bill.

Here's my take on things, remember it's only my opinion, it may not agree with urs but it's mine an i have every right to have it.
The minorities blame the whites for the whole mess, the whites blame the minorities. It's just a vicious game of scapegoat with no one mannin up an sayin "We screwed up an now we gotta fix it" Instead the finger continues to be pointed around an the hands are outstretched lookin for a hand out. Let's face it the system as is, is totally f*cked up. Excuse my french. The politicians continue to play politics, president included. The rich continue to play their lil games. And the regular hard workin people of this country continue to get the raw end of the whole d*mn deal. |

Financially speaking....the dude ain't wrong.
As the US economy goes...so does a lot of the global markets..... who holds the majority of the reigns of economic power in the freeworld? It ain't the blacks or the browns. Yeah, it is racist...but, it is accurate. |

Some rich families have taken to showing their kids the way and dumping them in the real world to make their own way. |

While I agree that it's not always the go-to, it very often is with anyone involved remotely with the black rights movements. |

Considering the quote used is inaccurate I don't think that applies here. |
