I think I must be the only one who didn't really care for it. I loved the books.. Bought the dvd the day it came out, excited to see it..

I *still* haven't been able to make it through the whole movie and I've tried three times.

And Edward just is not attractive to me and Bella, the way she reacts to things, just annoys me.

i think anytime you read the book before you watch the movie, the movie is disappointing. your imagination plays such a significant role when reading about it.

I can make it through the movie but I'm usually laughing and talking a fair amount of sh!t.

OK, I need to know when Edward comes back. I just started New Moon, and balled when he left. Now I am stuck reading all about Bella's mopping. Please I do not want to know what happens just need to know when he comes back. A goal that I can work towards so it does not seem to so boring.

You have a ways to go but I will say it does get more interesting. Soon it will not be so depressing and that will help pass the time until Edward returns.

after i watched twilight, i kind of cheated and went to wikipedia and found out what all 4 of the books are about..i couldnt help myself..LOL, guess i had a mini obsession right after watching the flick to devour some background on it all...LOL

Watched the movie couple weeks ago. Finally read the book last week. I got the book monday evenin and had it read by tuesday afternoon. I can't wait to get started on the 2nd. Throughly enjoyed both the movie and the book. Found both to be geniunely entertainin. I didn't mind that the movie didn't follow the book exact. I mean let's get serious, how often does a movie follow a book to the letter anyway? NEVER! There's always alil adaptation involved when goin from book to movie so it doesn't bother me.

I am a total die hard fan of twilight. Its a movie i could watch over and over and never get sick of. I havent read the books yet but the movie was awesome and left me craving more. I am so a club edward fan..hes sooo HOTT!! And the passion between them is so intense and breathtaking! I want to read the books and absolutely cannot wait for new moon to come out. The soundtrack is pretty sweet too.

Edward does come back towards the end of New Moon. I'd say roughly the last 1/4th of the book has Edward's involvement of sorts. So there's your goal,love! And NM WAS sooo depressing when Edward left. I honestly have read all 4 of the books several times, but only fully read NM once from beginnng to end. The other times I read it (since I already knew what happened) I just read the first part, skim bits of the middle, and pick back up reading towards the end. lol
Eclipse and Breaking Dawn are by far my favorites of the series. They're positively riviting non-stop!

I Stared New Moon on Thursday. SO glad to have my Edward back.

Just finished New Moon last night. I'm lookin forward to the movie now. Can't wait to get my hands on Eclipse and start readin it.

Well, you don't have "that" long to wait for New Moon to be in theatres now. There's only 214 days 11 hours 6 minutes and 4 seconds left to go (aprox) LOL

You have to wait a bit longer for Eclipse though... It will be in theatres June 30th, 2010.

My roomate is almost done with Eclipse. She just bought the last book Breaking Dawn. She is very obsessed with Edward, she has 3 posters of him. I Like Alice. I Kind of read Breaking Dawn ( shhhhh don;t tell my roomate)

I started reading Twilight not that long ago. I am reading it in the evening when I have the time. I am about half way through.

So, New Moon is the next book in the series?

Yes. There are 4 books out now in the Twilight Saga.

And Midnight Sun is not released, and may or may not be finished. You can see Stephenie's partial manuscript (about 250 pgs) on her official homepage. Due to the "leak" of Midnight Sun on the internet, she has not said whether or not she intends to finish it and publish it. But MS does not add to the end of the story; Breaking Dawn is "the end". MS basically starts over and re-tells Twilight through Edward's perspective as opposed to Bella's. Though Stephenie has talked about once she gets back into writing books for the saga that she would like for some of them to be in other character's perspectives. One example Stephenie gave was Leah Clearwater. Should be an interesting read whichever way she decides to do it!
