To me, I think that it was neat to read the books along with others. Trust me, the books are good, it isn't just hype.

Do you know what I just noticed after watching the movie a billion times (not really a billion, but you know) that Stephanie Meyers is in the movie. The second cafe scene where the waitress asking about the killings, before asking charlie, she gives Stephanie a veggie platter at the counter. Too cool, I never noticed before that she was in the movie.

Yeah, I did notice that too. I think it's so cool. Catherine Hardwicke wanted to give her some lines but Steph refused the lines and said just being in it was making her nervous enough that she didn't want to screw up the movie by saying her lines wrong. Steph also didn't want to "take away" from the storyline itself by her being present in the movie. But it was a big thrill for her and I haven't heard if she's doing another cameo shot in New Moon or the other movies yet. I hope she does--even if it's just a bit part like the one in Twilight was...it's still cool to have her a part of them. But God knows she is spending enough time on the set of each movie that it wouldn't be hard at all to work her into a scene almost any given day!

Okay, well...now I know. Ah, the wonders of Google! lol It Appears There Will Be No Cameo for Stephenie Meyer in New Moon.

In an interview with Time, New Moon director Chris Weitz says series author Stephenie Meyer will not have a cameo in the movie and that he "feel(s) bad about it" and "had kind of forgotten that she had a cameo in the first one [Twilight]."

Uh, Chris, this is no way to try and land the gig to direct Breaking Dawn.

Seems like they did some major changes from the book, um. Heard that they were going to add more to the add so that edward was in there more.

Ive just finished the book myself. I watched the movie first and was kind of on the fence about reading the book because I thought the movie was kind of blah...

My cousin knows of my vampire fetish and encouraged me to read the book and Im sooo glad I did it was wonderfully passionate with that butterflies in your stomach feel of first love.Soooo good that I am now rushing to buy New Moon before it comes out in theaters and spoils it for me.Im very curious about Jacob he sounds like such a hottie! I will definitely be reading the whole series now.

Any guys out there like the movie/books????
