This is the honest truth. I have no explanation for it except a very happy coincidence.
Last week I was contemplating how I might pay off one of my credit card bills because the interest was ridiculous. With that intent, I made a few calls inquiring about a transfer of balance from one card to another. I was told there were no transfer offers available. So I just decided to start paying larger payments to get the balance down. Then I just forgot about it. But before I made any extra payments: Two weeks later, I received a check in the mail that was enough to pay off both cards. There is no way I was expecting this check. It was money having to do with my X-husband who is deceased. I like that kind of magick.

Now that worked so well I think I'm going to see if I can attract some more wealth.
Here is my intention: I intend to increase my income. My first goal will be to increase my monthly income. I will go from $500.00 extra per month to $1000.00 extra per month and then the next goal will be an extra $5000.00 per month. |

As for the interest rate biz, I called my credit card company and said I didn't like the rate, wanted to talk to a manager, and he reduced the rate for me. Won't know unless you ask. And, threatening to move a well paying account elsewhere can do wonders, too. Jeannie, I'm all for the positive attraction thing. I'm very pleased for you!!! I need to practice on that for money and love.

I look at my credit card statement and felt that the balance wasn't very high.
So I went out and bought two new tires for my lawn tractor, a tow-behind lawn sweeper, several bags of concrete about 400 feet of fencing. Then I ordered a video course on Buddhism and another on on Quantum Mechanics as a refresher course. Then I ordered some books on faeries by three different authors including auto disk meditations for journeying into the faerie world. I also ordered some aquarium plants for my aquarium, and some crystals for making magick wands. Oh, and I bought a bunch of faerie statues too. Sure enough, when I got my next statement I had attracted a large debt on my credit card. Yep, that Law of Attraction works like a charm! I'm just trying to help out the economy and do my part!  |

I was talking to a young couple yesterday about finances and they made the statement, "We never seem to take in enough money to pay all the bills and have much of anything left. We are barely making it from day to day."
Now that is what is called a negative affirmation. When you repeatedly say things like that, (to yourself and others) your subconscious mind takes it all into account as fact of how things are and as the way you want them to be. Why? Because the subconscious mind takes everything you tell it to be truth. It will then proceed to maintain this reality for you and you will continued to "barely make it" from day to day just as you asked for. Yes you asked for it because you stated it out loud and you keep stating it to yourself. That is the asking. That is your perception of your life and reality. Thinking of it that way is what creates, maintains and perpetrates it. "Ask and it is given." Lately I have been stating: "Money just comes to me." and "Money just keeps coming to me." "I open the mailbox and I find money." And it happens just that way. It is not stating an untruth either. Money does come to me. Money comes to you too. Where does your money come from? My money comes to me in the form of a check in the mail, so my statements are true statements. Also, people hand me money. People are always handing me cash. I get paid for things I do for them and they hand me cash. To increase these events, I make statements and I keep it in my mind that money comes to me in the mail and people hand me money and then that reality continues and I start getting more money. If I were to make a statement like this: "I don't have enough money." Or "I am barely making it and I am deep in debt." then that reality would become clear in my mind and it would increasingly become real. You get what you think about, and you manifest your reality with your thoughts. You can make fun of that idea if you want but that is the way it is. It does not hurt you to make positive statements instead of negative statements. Try it. Make sure the positive statements are true statements. Just because a negative statement is regarded as "true" does not mean you should dwell on it. Dwelling on negative statements only perpetuates that reality. Find the positive and dwell on that and you will increase the positive. jb |

I am talking about the way we attract into our reality, what we think about ~~ whether we want it or not. It has been called the "law of attraction." But a more practical explanation of how it works is that our subconscious minds will bring us together with the things and situations that we think about the most. This is the way Wallace D. Wattles describes it in the book "The Science of Getting Rich" The below is chapter 17, a Summary of the Science of Getting Rich: THERE is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the thing he thinks about to be created. In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; otherwise he cannot be in harmony with the Formless Intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit. Man may come into full harmony with the Formless Substance by entertaining a lively and sincere gratitude for the blessings it bestows upon him. Gratitude unifies the mind of man with the intelligence of Substance, so that man's thoughts are received by the Formless. Man can remain upon the creative plane only by uniting himself with the Formless Intelligence through a deep and continuous feeling of gratitude. Man must form a clear and definite mental image of the things he wishes to have, to do, or to become; and he must hold this mental image in his thoughts, while being deeply grateful to the Supreme that all his desires are granted to him. The man who wishes to get rich must spend his leisure hours in contemplating his Vision, and in earnest thanksgiving that the reality is being given to him. Too much stress cannot be laid on the importance of frequent contemplation of the mental image, coupled with unwavering faith and devout gratitude. This is the process by which the impression is given to the Formless, and the creative forces set in motion. The creative energy works through the established channels of natural growth, and of the industrial and social order. All that is included in his mental image will surely be brought to the man who follows the instructions given above, and whose faith does not waver. What he wants will come to him through the ways of established trade and commerce. In order to receive his own when it shall come to him, man must be active; and this activity can only consist in more than filling his present place. He must keep in mind the Purpose to get rich through the realization of his mental image. And he must do, every day, all that can be done that day, taking care to do each act in a successful manner. He must give to every man a use value in excess of the cash value he receives, so that each transaction makes for more life; and he must so hold the Advancing Thought that the impression of increase will be communicated to all with whom he comes in contact. The men and women who practice the foregoing instructions will certainly get rich; and the riches they receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of their vision, the fixity of their purpose, the steadiness of their faith, and the depth of their gratitude. |

Thoughts become things....so think the good ones. I am a firm believer in the "Law of Attraction". I could give many examples of how the Law of Attraction has worked for me. My favorite is what has happened lately. My husband has been gone for over a year now. He suffers with a serious substance abuse problem (crack head). His family knows where he is but would not tell me. I just want a divorce. Right before Christmas I thought "It sure would be nice to find him so I can file for divorce." Now here's the good part...I had been talking to this guy on line for a while and that night I finally give him my phone number. He calls, we talk, about an hour into the conversation he asked me about my divorce. I told him what the situation was, I make a laughing comment saying "you could have arrested him for all we know" (he's a state trooper) he said "I might have what's his name?" Of course you know, he HAD arrested him just six weeks previously for DUI. He gave me all the information I needed. How about that for attraction? It gets better! February 19th was my 4 year wedding anniversary, I was hoping that we could be in court that day or he could be served papers that day. About 10:30am I get a text message from my state trooper "your favorite crackhead was in court today, plead guilty for DUI"...hahahahahahaha this is his third offense, he's going to jail! But that's not my problem, I just want a divorce, and I can't afford an attorney because I am still trying to recover from him wiping out our checking account. As I was leaving work that day I see a client waiting in the lobby...he's an attorney and one that I have massaged before. I greet him by name, sit down next to him, tell him about my situation and then asked if he would work a trade for handling my divorce. He said yes. How about that for attraction? Divorce papers have been filed! Thoughts really do become things! Oh and I found $20 in the parking lot by my car that day. |

One of the things that will stall a person on their path through life is them not knowing what they want OR staying in a bad situation that is wrong for their true spirit. When I was married, no amount of positive thinking could get me anything I wanted. The magic would not work! It was because I was in an oppressive and unhappy relationship and going down the wrong path in my life. There were roadblocks everywhere. When I made the decision to change my life and get out of that situation, the magic returned and I got everything I asked for. So I would add that if you are unhappy and not feeling joyful about where you are because you are feeling trapped and oppressed and hopeless, you must focus on getting out of that trap and finding your bliss and joy elsewhere. In order for the law of attraction to work in your favor to bring you what you want and not what you don't want, you must feel good, and feel joy and gratitude. If you are depressed and feeling bad, and thinking negative things, you will create or attract the things you do not want. |
