not all people in tent city have been found guilty . no nithing wrong with brown bagging it . accept when you are given both bags at the beggining of the day and the food sits on your bunk in the 120 degree weather .

No evidence. You are spouting pure hearsay.

pure heresay . my brother is sitting in tent city right now unsentenced . get your facts straight just because they are sitting in tent city does not mean they have been sentenced . but you dont live here so you wouldnt know that . smart guy!

there were atleast 5 inmates in tent city hospitalized last summer for heat stroke , and thats just what i remember from the news . so is it only alright untill someone dies ?

And why have they not been deported?

not deported ? there arent just people who are here illegaly there .

did I say that???? no...but then again i didn't serve in the military so i don't have a voice right?

those inmates were taken care of. and yes...they need to do SOMETHING about it....but just living in a tent with brown bag meals aren't a problem for me. if it is a danger...then yes....do something

if it's just they are made to work and not "comfortable" then no

maybe if the US was harder on the guilty...then it might deter others

who takes care of the oil riggers and farmers and ranchers etc?

i truly don't think that they should keep people that haven't been convicted honestly in a tent city. that blows the "treated innocent until proven guilty" right out of the water. but i've been seeing that so many people are for torturing others on some level or another. especially the ones that haven't experienced it yet.

Nobody should be in Tent City if they haven't been convicted, IMO.

Illegals undermine the economy, sometimes working uninsured business and under cutting the American businesses, because they do not pay what the American businesses have to pay. The people get a shotty job done, and have to call in professionals to fix it costing them what they paid the illegals. Then what they must pay to fix it. I see it all the time.

who brought up anything about th freaking millitary ? you have all the voice you want . do i think your right no . but that is my opinion . i used to feel the same way you do about tent city . they did the crime they can do the time . untill i found out what tent city is realy like . the gaurds have been known to ignore people who are overheated because they think they are fakeing it . people have gotten sick from there bologna sandwhiches being in the heat . iv worked in the oilfields . it's not that bad . at the end of the day they go home to an airconditioned house . these guys are in the heat 24 -7 you cant compare the two . as i said my brother is sitting in tent city because he got laid off and couldnt pay his child support but he desrves it right . yeah great attitude .

now i have to adjust my statement. if you are in jail because you lost your job and couldn't pay childsupport, you SHOULD NOT be in a tent city.

i was refering to another thread you were in. did i say your brother deserves it or not....nope.

who takes care of the workers in the oil field, ranchers, anyone working outside when they get heat stroke??? not all of them can afford health insurance (even if it was offered).

as far as your brother...i don't know about your state....but there are ways to handle it.

nobody should be in a tent city regardless of what they did . i can understand no t.v. no music 2 meals a day . work to support yourself i understand all of that . but not lets stick you in a tent in 120 degree weather , and ignore you when you get sick from it . someone will end up dieing in those tents . several have come close .
