Thank you.......Too bad my ex won't recognize it......Thank goodness my kids do despite what their mom says.......
I even had one of my girls' neighborhood friends ask me to be her daddy after her natural father passed away!!!! What an HONOR THAT was!!!!!! Maybe I'm doing something right!!!! |

I really admire men who make an effort to not only spend time with their kids, but pay their child support because their kids deserve it. And if there is a concern, they call their kids mother and talk it out.
That is a beautiful thing. |

its also a beautiful thing when a mother or so called mother pays child support. its for the kids ya know

Yes, it does. And the first part of my post that you responded to talked about effort and time... then the money. its all equally important... and establishing GOOD communication with the OTHER parent is also extremly important. parenting SHOULD be a two person job... cheers to all single parents out there that understand |

Thank you very much for your support. I have custody of my two girls. Would not want it any other way

anyone notice that all these posts are from women....
how about WaY To gO MoMs!!!! we've been doing it waaaayyyy longer and with NO credit!! |

I do say way to go moms! BUT, don't say it's been with no credit. Society as a whole has looked at mothers as the "better" parent for decades. My brother has raised his son the last 13 years with NO help from the mother so I have always been a big supporter of single dads. I was still amazed when I started talking to women how many dads have little to no contact with their kids after a divorce. I "only" get my two half the time. If it wouldn't be hard on the kids I wouldn't mind having them all the time. So far our parenting hasn't changed despite our relationship.
