The comedy channel last night interview two people about Obama. One of them said that he is the next Hitler, the other said he is the anti-Christ. They guy doing the interview thought it was funny. Those people were dead serious. |

What is this post about? Sovereignty. ... and? We were and are sovereign nation. Now what? Nothing, I was at work and my roommate emailed something about Obama claiming Sovereignty over the US. He was confused and misunderstood and I was asking about it. |

Maryland....
It took 7 years to ratify the Constitution. The first President was elected by only 11 States. Your State ratified the constitution without the Bill of Rights! Two States held out until the Bill of Rights were added. Do you even know which ones? Article 10 was a requirement of these two States before they would ratify the Constitution. Not so Maryland. Maryland ratified the constitution without a single one. |

Or, in other words, being the top of the recognized law.
Which, incidentally, mean that if become a subject of any law not drawn down from our own, then we lose (or have lost) our sovereignty. Treaties are mutually beneficial agreements. But, no one can sue us, and if some one can, then they own us. Which is why I am against UN, and any other "world law body". (Not the sole reason, though). |

Any Independent, Self-governing nation IS a Sovereign Nation. We have been one since the Revolutionary War!!!! If you are a nation that is under the control of another nation, then you are not a sovereign nation. Such as various African Countries when they were under the control of England and Franch. |
