Holy ****...

Any Independent, Self-governing nation IS a Sovereign Nation.

We have been one since the Revolutionary War!!!!

If you are a nation that is under the control of another nation, then you are not a sovereign nation. Such as various African Countries when they were under the control of England and Franch.

drinker Thats right. flowerforyou We always were a sovereign nation since the revolutionary war.:smile:

I started working at age 14,,,and then and before then WE ALL PAID TAXES,MEDICARE,SOCIAL SECURITY.....for our selves and FOR EVERYONE to SHARE FROM. If ALL OF THIS WAS FIRST DONE "RIGHT",,,we would ALL have still paid these monies into a trust that PAID MEDICAL for this NATION,,and GAVE us ALL, A REAL RETIREMENT POLICY,,,,that WE ALREADY have had to PAY FOR...just my thoughts...

The same with me, Iam4u. I started working when I was 13 years old.

I feel that it's our responsibility to pay taxes and help others.

winx, my stomach is turning while i'm thinking and typing this because it makes me sad, i wish i didn't know this, honestly. the taxes you pay to the irs, goes right back to the federal reserve to pay the interest on the loans that our government has procured from them.

the irs was formed in 1913 along with the federal reserve act, in order that we would pay off the federal reserve loans directly. basically they are a collection agency for the fed. i have the first commercial that the irs put out on tv. it has donald duck on it. a jukebox is telling donald duck that our country is about to go to war and needs his help. he comes back with a pot on his head and a bunch of survival gear and a gun. the jukebox tells him they don't need that kind of help. it turns out that they say that they were needing taxes to be paid. before the war, no one paid these taxes. it was that commercial that coined the idea that paying your taxes was patriotic.

My taxes help pay for street repairs, firefighters, police officers, parks, city street lights, trash pick-up, and more.

Teachers get paid, schools, highways get built, poor people get help, etc, etc., etc., etc,, etc.

State and municipal taxes cover these.
My taxes help pay for street repairs, firefighters, police officers, parks, city street lights, trash pick-up, and more. Teachers get paid, schools and only if you are a property owner. Renters get away free from paying taxes for schools.

State Taxes, subsidized by the Feds cover these.
highways get built.

Do you really have a clue as to where your Fed Tax goes? Most of it goes to support the Fat Cats who are supposed to be looking out for our interests.

You just paid for the round trip Hillary made to kiss Commie A$$.

winx, i'm really not trying to argue, i can prove what i'm saying. my words on this subject aren't empty when you believe what you believe about the tax system, you are believing the same people that have lied to us about too many things for them to be trusted. it's not in the hands of the people. it seems, the good people don't really have a hand in this tax policy. do you really believe that the irs is on your side?

The seven propaganda devices include:

Name calling -- giving something a bad label to make the audience reject it without examining the evidence;
Glittering generalities -- the opposite of name calling;
Card stacking -- the selective use of facts and half-truths;
Bandwagon -- appeals to the desire, common to most of us, to follow the crowd;
Plain folks -- an attempt to convince an audience that they, and their ideas, are "of the people";
Transfer -- carries over the authority, sanction and prestige of something we respect or dispute to something the speaker would want us to accept; and
Testimonials -- involving a respected (or disrespected) person endorsing or rejecting an idea or person.

fanta, i know what your doing, and it's not nice.

*Name calling -- giving something a bad label to make the audience reject it without examining the evidence;

you are doing just that when you slyly say "i see two in one post" i don't know why you hate me so much but you tend to try to sabbatage everything i write in any of these posts. i have looked back to see your reactions to most of my opinions and all i see are little snive remarks about my sanity or intelligence, not one of them is anything that actually rebutts my opinion with facts. i do know that sometimes you will form an opposite opinion on these threads just to "stir the pot" which in my opinion can be fun sometimes if you are the stirrer, but sometimes when someone has spent countless amounts of hours researching a subject because the really do care about society, and they try to relay some of the information that it took thousands of hours of research to actually verify, it kind of sucks to have someone just cut it into with a silly little remark on sanity. some of us are on these forums earnestly and some of us are on them for entertainment, which is sad at this point because the entertainers can really keep some people from actually learning something.

:smile: she is doing her job:smile:

Everything she did there used to go totally against her grain. Did she sell out what she believed in? Or has she always just been hype for attention?
She used to openly condemn China for their flagrant abuse of Human rights. She condemned the massacre of student protesters in the square.
Her comment is now, Oh, we can't let little things get in the way of progress.
Massacre is a little thing?
