I started working at age 14,,,and then and before then WE ALL PAID TAXES,MEDICARE,SOCIAL SECURITY.....for our selves and FOR EVERYONE to SHARE FROM. If ALL OF THIS WAS FIRST DONE "RIGHT",,,we would ALL have still paid these monies into a trust that PAID MEDICAL for this NATION,,and GAVE us ALL, A REAL RETIREMENT POLICY,,,,that WE ALREADY have had to PAY FOR...just my thoughts...

The same with me, Iam4u. I started working when I was 13 years old.

I feel that it's our responsibility to pay taxes and help others.

winx, my stomach is turning while i'm thinking and typing this because it makes me sad, i wish i didn't know this, honestly. the taxes you pay to the irs, goes right back to the federal reserve to pay the interest on the loans that our government has procured from them.

the irs was formed in 1913 along with the federal reserve act, in order that we would pay off the federal reserve loans directly. basically they are a collection agency for the fed. i have the first commercial that the irs put out on tv. it has donald duck on it. a jukebox is telling donald duck that our country is about to go to war and needs his help. he comes back with a pot on his head and a bunch of survival gear and a gun. the jukebox tells him they don't need that kind of help. it turns out that they say that they were needing taxes to be paid. before the war, no one paid these taxes. it was that commercial that coined the idea that paying your taxes was patriotic.

My taxes help pay for street repairs, firefighters, police officers, parks, city street lights, trash pick-up, and more.

Teachers get paid, schools, highways get built, poor people get help, etc, etc., etc., etc,, etc.

winx, i'm really not trying to argue, i can prove what i'm saying. my words on this subject aren't empty when you believe what you believe about the tax system, you are believing the same people that have lied to us about too many things for them to be trusted. it's not in the hands of the people. it seems, the good people don't really have a hand in this tax policy. do you really believe that the irs is on your side?

I'm not crazy about the IRS. They are a necessary thorn in our sides, IMO. Taxes pay for things. How else can things get done in our society?

winx, let me ask you a question. what if we could still have the infrastructure that we have, roads, bridges, teachers, etc.... without having to pay taxes? would that be a better situation?

I don't think it's possible.

i'm not asking if you think it's possible. i'm asking do you think it would be better?

You just paid for the round trip Hillary made to kiss Commie A$$.

Hillary has a new job now. She's the Secretary of State - new job description.

Obama's BIOTCH.
New job and now she believes massacring students is ok. She referred to it as a little thing, not to hinder progress.
My values are constant. I wouldn't trade or sell them for the universe.

So...if a man was the Secretary of State instead of Hillary, what disgusting thing would you be calling him?

The same thing.
Anyone who would sell out their values isn't worth the air they breath.
She is now, Pro-Commie. China is our banker. Signed, sealed and delivered.

Bush already made them our banker. That's where Bush's stimulus check money came from.

She is doing the job that she was hired to do.

if you borrow money from a loan shark to pay your employees for their work, and then you expect your employees to pay the loan shark back in small payments and tell your employees that they should do this becuause if it weren't for the loan shark they wouldn't get paid at all, wouldn't that be criminal?

that's what our government is doing with the IRS and federal reserve system.

Nope, didn't walk 10 miles.

Yep, the IRS isn't going to change any time soon.

Someone mentioned to me last night there are some Chicken Littles showing up here lately. I'm seeing what he was talking about.

Do you really have a clue as to where your Fed Tax goes? Most of it goes to support the Fat Cats who are supposed to be looking out for our interests.

 she is doing her job:smile:

Everything she did there used to go totally against her grain. Did she sell out what she believed in? Or has she always just been hype for attention?
She used to openly condemn China for their flagrant abuse of Human rights. She condemned the massacre of student protesters in the square.
Her comment is now, Oh, we can't let little things get in the way of progress.
Massacre is a little thing?

 I dont see what being antagonistic towards other countries is going to accomplish. We have tried that, and it has done nothing but create more problems:smile:
