Do pets suffer from dementia in their old age? I think it's possible. My Cocker Spaniel was around 11 when he died. When he got older, he would bark at absolutely nothing. I thought he might be having flashbacks or something. |

Do pets suffer from dementia in their old age? I think it's possible. My Cocker Spaniel was around 11 when he died. When he got older, he would bark at absolutely nothing. I thought he might be having flashbacks or something. My 18 year old, insulin dependent cat has started doing this crazy meowing in the night (not every night, thank goodness.) The other night she'd gotten "lost" in the office at 2:30am. I had to go find her and when I picked her up and she just sort of melted against me and started purring so hard - like she was really scared. I don't know if she's senile or if maybe her vision is going and she can't figure out where she is or what??? It's PATHETIC! She is my favorite pet EVER so whatever it takes to make sure she's okay, but seriously...it really IS pretty pathetic! |

Wow. That's a seriously old cat. I wouldn't be surprised at all if her vision is going and she gets lost.

Can you recommend a method for getting over being uncomfortable with public recognition?
(It's the part of the new job I was really dreading and today it's there...front page of our local newspaper. Egads...it's about 90% accurate from what I remember of the interview...nothing TOO embarrassing, really...but I am just squirming. Didn't even KNOW about it until a friend sent me a text at 10:30 tonight...) I really need to figure out how to deal with this better. What do you recommend? |

where will my next job be. Depends. It could be where your heart tells you it should be. Like what happened to Galendgirl. Or it could be whatever will put money in your pocket. Just depends on your monetary situation. |
