We saw the best high school production of The Wizard of Oz tonight. JAG........which character would you be if you had to pick one? Tin Man. There are quite a few people who think I am a heartless bastard. Awwwww...I would have said the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz! (Who IS that man behind the curtain?) Ah..but remember that the Great And powerful Wizard was nothing more than a charade perpetrated by a rather frumpy, slightly crabby old man. Hmmm....now that I think about it....you may be right. lol |

Hmmm....now that I think about it....you may be right. lol That was the first impression once the curtain opened...but the reality was that he knew people's deepest desires and fulfilled their dreams from their own abilities. Empowering others - now THAT is what I call Great and Powerful! |

Why do people hit/kick/pound on something that is already broken in hopes of making it work again?

How do you do a reality check? If you have to do one...aren't you already out of touch with reality? You can never do a " reality check ". Mainly because if you need one, you have a pretty slippery grip on reality anyway. A reality check for yourself must always come from others. |

Why do people hit/kick/pound on something that is already broken in hopes of making it work again? I used to have a computer that had a bad hard drive cable. It would occasionally lock up and I had to smack the side of the case to get it going again. People do stuff like that because sometimes, it actually works...lol |
