oldsage - guess I am running on a local track today but to whom was your post responding to? Wasn't responding to anyone special. Way I took some of the previous thoughts, felt that if Lilth was going to be upfront, I would support her in it. What works for one, may not work for another. Does NOT mean it is wrong, for ANYONE. I totally agree, was just curious, and as I say best way to find out what someone means is to ask them.

His response to my text saying it was all set... "You're the best". Why? I didn't do anything but relay info..... So I asked why, he says, "Why not"? Sigh.... |

Instead he deflected the question with a question. Isn't it terrible? A psychologist who is being guarded with someone who knows he is being guarded?

It is why this is so bad. He knows I see what he is doing, but he is smart. I'm practicing my SHUDDUP mode, as that is my problem. But by entering SHUDDUP mode, I'm now overanalyzing everything as I can't bring it up. For if I bring it up, he will be forced to acknowledge his behavior and in a sense... give me power. Or at least see that I am right or observant or astute or whatever. At least, NOT DEAF!!! And this will make him run.
If he was truly ready to share with me he would do it, but at the same time will he ever be ready to share with me? Does he trust his feeilngs? Does he think that he is not worthy of a relationship? That I deserve better? Does he want a relationship, just not with me and figure he will keep me around as the sex is hot?

Just to clarify a point, are you openly admitting that your IQ drops around the opposite sex too?
