Why are women, or females in general sensitive about their weight? can someone help me out on this one cause it puzzle mah mind!. ...puts on flak jacket and kevlar helmet. Watches bullets fly.

misdirected social stigma and possible repercussions with acceptability/ desirability or they feel unhealthy..if your not healthy you will be uncomfortable with a lot of things there you go a good answer finally... why is it in todays world we stress so much about weight... All you have to do is look around .. peopel say " average " oin a profule and they aren't even close to it..WHY? because they compare themselves to their peers ( people they surround themselves with. sure I will admit to all the women out there.. I like a woman who is slender / slim or average. And I mean what they should weigh.. thats according to the medical profession .Not your friends.. so shoot me its a matter of personal prefernce . overweight is not attractive or sexually appealing to me.. But who am I.. just another man..

oh I'll play with fire! for one, the media just plays and plays on the notion that to be beautiful, one must be a size 00 .... and society / media just shoves that down the throats of girls starting a a young age, and hey it sticks to alot of 'em. And then some have been in the abusive relationships where they develope bigger insecurities and have lower self worth etc....

For woman weight is not measured on a scale but by their frame of mind. A woman that thinks she's fat will be whatever you think, do or say.

I'd be scared too

i know im over weight and sometimes i feel insecure about that. but all the guys i have ever dated never looked at my weight they saw the beauty within.. the guy now see me for me. which i find awsome and my health issue doesnt bother him..

Because women are women? What about men watching sports,like football,basketball? The static's Women are women They have different interest about life? Some like to shop, until they drop! Men have sports on there minds? Deal with the weight issue thing!
