i think its cool you think about god.understanding the god is so much simpler .he is far to large than to make himself such a mystery or word equation.however it does take a certain amount of faith.the bible says.and i do understand some people do not believe the bible and thats thier right.but it does say,"blessed is the generation that believes and yet have not seen" How can I think about God when the term "God" has not adequately been defined? How can I think about the existence of something that is not known or defined? And why do you refer to God as HE? Before one can think of God one has to define that, and then define what they mean by "existence." I am thinking about the word GOD and the word EXISTENCE and what they mean. Define God and define existence and I will see if I can think about that. JB the meaning of God is different for each person.Some may find no common definition because it means something to each perspectively. God is a Supernatural Super Spiritual perfect being having Supernatural powers believed in and worshipped by a people.Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. Self-existent, Eternal, indescribable. Originator, Creator and Ruler of the Universe and all therein. The principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions like xtianity, judaism,and islam. God is one or something that is worshipped, followed and given adoration to. It can be a graven image/carved image or idol or statue like what the catholics worship. god can be money. or even a man or a supernatural being believed to control some aspect of life, like rain, or the sea and yes the sun, moon and stars. God is a Powerful Ruler. even satan himself is a god. your belief in God can also depend on your culture. God a divine being, Everlasting, Immortal being. god can also be food, drugs,music, sex, wife, husband , child, celebrity, trees, alcohol,work,religious figure, people,etc, etc, you get the idea. anything can be god.  Yamin So Yamin, what are you saying? That God is anything? That God is everything? If that is your definition of "God" then what is all the talk about. Yes I believe in my life, my reality. That too is God with this definition. So if that be the case, then I believe in God. However, this can be misunderstood by some people. If God is everything and anything to include Satan, as you say here, then the word "God" becomes meaningless. It has all attributes and no attributes. Its just life. Do I believe in life? Yes.  |

Jeannie... God Will NOT Reveal Himself to ANY of Us, Unless we FIRST SEEK after Him with our WHOLE HEART!!! Why? Cause GOD WILL NEVER EVER EVER .... INFRINGE ON MAN'S FREE WILL!!!!!!!!! Whether God has revealed Itself to me or not would depend upon how you define God or how I define God. According to Yamin's definition of God, God has revealed Itself to everyone. According to my definition of God, God had revealed Itself to me a million time over. I just don't think that you Morningsong, are the final authority for God or who, why or how God will reveal itself to anyone. Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but I don't accept you as an authority of God just because you claim to be "born again" and you try to give the impression that you know God more than I do or anyone else. |

God did NOT have his Only Begotten Son to die and bear our sins on that cross, for the whole wide world.... so we can now, just turn around and IGNORE what Jesus did for us all.... and THINK we can just come to God any ole way we want to !!!! Nope. Not gonna happen. Jesus Said, " I AM THE WAY.... THE TRUTH.... THE LIFE......... NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME." |

I'm not religious in a way that most people view religion but I'm gonna prove something
-Most people believe, that things are made of molecules and molecules are made of atoms and yet only a handful of people actually "saw" atoms. Have you seen atoms ever? If you have never (99.9% of the people) and yet they got no problem believing it whatsoever. here is another question, parallel with the topic: -Do you believe that I am happy? You can't see me right now and I could easily fake it, where is the proof that I was happy 1 minute ago? I can't prove it to you if I didn't take a picture or recorded my voice, and if I tell you that I was happy a minute ago, you will most likely believe it, without asking me for a proof. Oh yeah, and does happiness exist? How so, can you grab it somehow, put it in a box? |

text itself GIVES NOT IT'S OWN MEANING? it was written, THE LAW OF TEXT BE WRITTEN ON THE HEARTS OF HUMANITY? the law of text then, COMPLETED WITH THE LAW OF HEART THEN, be then what give the WHOLE MEANING, which was said to be UNCONDITIONAL LOVE? there is nothing that speak of text as having and defining itself, that has been connected it's own greater self, GOD WITHIN, that find not unitil it do just as text also wrote, LOOK NOT TO THE LEFT, OR TO THE RIGHT....... saying further, to NOT HEED THOSE THAT DECLARE ITSELF KNOW THE TRUTH, as anything that KNOW "WHOLE" truth need not say such things, AS ANY HEARER THAT HEAR GREATER, KNOW IT, and be as the judge, AS THE SAME BE WRITTEN ON EACH HEART, that it truly find not what it seek in the following only some graven image of god which be what text gave, FOR THE HEART TO SOLVE THE PUZZLE, not be good or bad....... |

Probably the ones that believe Eve ate an apple or Angels have big pretty wings on their backs. I have my beliefs and understanding of scripture based on my studies and not just what some preacher says. Do I have all the answers? I'm sure I don't. But I still say some of my understanding makes far more sense than a lot of what is taught these days. I think we all will have some suprises in the end.
