I couldn't donate blood any more if I had sex with a man who's had sex with another man.

I enjoy being to do that.

Ok, so that's a good reason.

OK...I do have to ask this...my Mom was a phlebotomist (SP?)...what does being bi or gay have to do with donating blood? Just an honest, non-combative question...

It is a question the Red Cross asks you. Saying "yes" to this invalidates your ability to donate. I'm guessing it has to do with HIV, but you'd have to ask them.

I remember that question. My buddies always used to have fun with that one back in high school. My school had blood drives every month. They used to butcher me frown

WOW! How very un-PC of them...

But, back to the topic...I must admit, that was one of the reasons I broke it off with the bi guy... I've done my research...I'm not one to freak out & fly off the handle ignorant...I know that straights are just as susceptable to HIV as gays...& are probably less educated about it...but it is an honest answer...

They also ask if you've accepted drugs or sex for money.

I watched a gay porn once in college, with men. I watched it with a sort of morbid fascination and it is burned into my brain like the acid from the Alien's second jaw.

I am asked that question when I donate and I was able to say no until last year. I do not know how I should answer now because I was with a man that might have been with a man. I will have to find the man and get knowledge of what he did.

It's a fair question. The odds are exponentially higher for HIV in the cases being asked about. The tests for HIV in blood are not foolproof... especially if it was recently contracted. If you're a man and you've had sex with a man, you shouldn't give blood. I don't care who you have sex with or what kind of drugs you do... just as long as I don't have to accept additional risk for it.

This is just my thinking and I have no evidence to support it.
I think many gay men start out not admitting they are gay and the men have much contact with women. Then the men come to the conclusion of admitting they are gay and by then the men have had relationships with many women. Now all those women have bisexual or gay stories.
I think gay women admit to themselves their truth much more quickly and they do not use as much time dating men.

No arguments, please?

How many of you have dated...& kissed someone...only to find out later that they are bi? I don't expect many of the men would have a problem...but what do you women think?

I have never been intimate with a man that confessed to me that he was bi-sexual. I must be honest with you, I would be VERY uncomfortable with that and most assuredly break off the relationship were this to occur. The reason is that the chances of contracting an STD are doubled.

I also tend to believe that when a man claims he is bi-sexual, he is actually gay but just in denial. I know that might be wrong but I can’t help but feel this way about it.

So, does being gay or bi increase their odds of cheating?

I knowingly dated a woman such as you described. It was intriguing. They seem to have a lot fun in crowds.

I think I'd much rather kiss a Bi Female who might still have pu$$-breath than a straight gal that just got done giving head.

You know this isn't sex and dating, right?
