I agree... If a child of mine got into pot. i'd smoke with them... depending on age n maturity level. and if thats all they get into, i'd be happy... the other ****, i'd worry then

I don't have any children... But I do on occasion let my chihuahua get stoned with the neighbor's rottie... Neighbors smoke, I quit 3 years ago.

Well, when I got caught, my dad just said to not get caught with it by anyone else.

Almost everyone tries them at some point. To say pot is a gateway drug is a lie. I never wanted to do any other drugs besides pot. And to punish your child for something that you once tried (if you tried it) is rediculious. I can say right now.. If I had a kid, and he smoked pot, and I found out.. I would do the same thing as my father did when he caught me, lit up with me and tell him not to let anyone else besides ones who are close with you and you know will not turn on you know.

Just be glad it is not crack or meth.

I know people that did those and they did smoke pot too.

Everyone does...just like everyone knows people that never touched marijuana and still got hooked on a harder drug. I'm all good if you don't like marijuana use, I really could care less what you do with your own children if anything about drugs comes up...the only thing I can hope to do is teach you the facts, and the fact is there is no "gateway" drug.

I have taught my child the facts.

& I still think that many people are stuck in the horse and buggy days

I oftentimes wish I was back in the horse & buggy Wild West Days...


it was oh soooo beautiful & wild & wide open...

sooo unspoiled back then & soo sacred still


it was definitely rough & life kept you on your toes


but it was a better more wholesome time I think


& certainly not any crazier or rougher in many ways


than all the crazy insane things that happen these days

That is your version of the wild west....maybe to many episodes of little house on the prairie has biased your view. But the Wild West was exactly that! I was the not known as the Wholesome West, for the shear fact that Guns ruled the street, Brothels on pretty much every corner along with bars, slave trade existed, persecution of pretty much anyone that was not white.... Yep sure sounds like the wholesome time I wanted to live in....

Are far as pot usage goes...everyone has a right to raise their child as they see fit! However I do have a problem when you impose your views on my life and how I raise my future children... There is more things I can think of that are harmful to us besides pot!
