I believe that Mary Magdalene was perhaps a High Priestess. I believe she taught him Witchcraft and many Pagan beliefs. He combined teachings.

That's an interesting theory.

I never really thought about something like that but makes a lot of sense.

I agree James. I to, have a difficult time believing the accounts that describe Jesus as a complete myth that never existed. That seems to be how JB feels about it and she does have a lot of evidence to support that theory. There is also a new movie do out that they have been advertising on this site that will go into all of that in detail. I plan on renting it. I just have this feeling that there was a man named Jesus. I don’t accept that he was "born of a virgin". That’s a load of crap. He was a HUMAN, Jewish man who got saddled with this. Well he was probably half Italian as Mary more then likely was raped by a Roman.

That’s another thread and is not really of great import and it just sets people off arguing. I have my own theories. I believe that Mary Magdalene was perhaps a High Priestess. I believe she taught him Witchcraft and many Pagan beliefs. He combined teachings.

Oh yes, people tend to get very pissed if you refer to Mary Magdalene as anything BUT a whore and prostitute. grumble grumble  That's such crap.

Well you need to keep in mind some key points here. Prostitution was EXTREMELY common in that day. It was a way for a woman to make some extra cash regardless of her stature. It was so common in fact that the Romans had a specific currency they used for it.

If Mary Magdalene was considered a whore, big deal. So was about 90% of the female population. You did what you had to in order to put bread on the table.

Pagan Priestesses also had all kinds of ritual sex with both males and females. They practiced sexual healing. No, it’s not just a Marvin Gaye tune. Although I believe what Marvin Gaye was describing in that song was actually "sexual healing".

Oh I totally understand that. But the Christians have some sort of loathing about her being a "whore" I never quite understood. They get like this sour taste in their mouth when you talk about her as anything other than some random whore that their lord and savior decided decided he would "save" her too.

Right. It’s taken completely out of context. I also believe that Jesus was having sex with Mary Magdalene. Come on now. We aren’t 8 year olds.

I totally agree. I think she played a far more important role with him than anyone wants to admit. But I don't understand why it's such a horrible thing to say? People get so pissed off and freaked out about the notion that maybe Jesus didn't die a virgin.

They have this romantic idea oh how things were back then and they won't vary from that idea. Then men had many wives and many whores. Plain and simple. Crime was rampid. And really, when hasn't it been?

It’s my personal opinion that the saddest situation to take place is if he HAD in fact died a virgin. He was only like 35 or so when he was executed and suffered that horrible, painful death. She loved him and he clearly loved her.

Those kinds of comments are based in emotion however.

I’m sure they were intimate. She may have even bore him children. It’s very likely.

People just like to constantly minimize any female role in the bible. It’s ridiculous.

Yes I think this is feasible and all of this "healing" Jesus was traveling around and doing? Perhaps he was just using some basic herbal remedies that she had taught him.

Just a reminder for those that practice any magick...Mercury is turning retrograde at about midnight EST for approximately 3 weeks (I can check my calendar if anyone needs to know exactly how long it is lasting). It is not recommended that you do any magick while Mercury is in retrograde.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.......

The story told by the secret societies was that this Jewish Rabi (who gets credit for playing the character of Jesus) actually married Mary Magdalene. But she was his first wife and died after only a few children. Then he married another woman and had more children.

This man was no where near the fictional character in the Bible, but the story tellers wanted to base their fiction on a real person. Neither was he crucified on a cross or born of a virgin. According to the secret societies he died around the age of 65 having been stoned to death for teaching against the Jewish laws and exposing the corruption in among the Jewish religious leaders. His descendants are being tracked by a secret group who seems to be concerned with certain bloodlines. Its all about genetic engineering and the breeding of a superior race of humans.

I watched a show on PBS about the descendants of Jesus. They could be anywhere now. Perhaps even working as valets or food service employees.

"In the Palestine of Jesus' time, it would have been unthinkable for an unmarried woman to travel unaccompanied -- and even more so to travel unaccompanied with a religious teacher and his entourage. Because of this potentially embarrassing fact, numerous traditions have assumed that the Magdalen was married to one of the disciples. Unfortunately, if this was the case, then her special relationship with Jesus and her proximity to him would have rendered both of them subject to suspicions, if not outright charges, of adultery."

huh

happy Ive got nothing. Just doing a bump before it dropped to page two.

Here is some fun stuff.

A succubus (plural succubi) is a demon who takes the form of a beautiful woman to seduce men, in dreams to have sexual intercourse, according to the medieval European legend. Their male counterpart is the incubus. They draw energy from the men to sustain themselves, often until the point of exhaustion or death of the victim. One such story relates to a man in the town of Coblenz, who has been bewitched by a succubus, with whom he is forced to repeatedly fornicate, whilst in the presence of his wife. The story goes on to say that "after an incredible number of such bouts, the poor man at last sinks to the floor utterly exhausted." From mythology and fantasy, Lilith and the Lilin (Jewish) and Lilitu (Sumerian) are in redactive Christian fables (folktales not part of official Christian theology), considered succubi.

According to the Malleus Maleficarum, or "Witches' Hammer", written by Heinrich Kramer (Insitoris) in 1486, succubi would collect semen from the men they slept with, which incubi would then use to impregnate women, thus explaining how demons could apparently sire children in spite of the traditional belief that demons were incapable of reproduction through generative or gestative means. Children so begotten were supposed to be those that were born deformed, or more susceptible to supernatural influences. huh

Etymology

First attested 1387, derived from Late Latin succuba "strumpet", used to describe the supernatural being as well. From succubare "to lie under", from sub- "under" and cubare "to lie".

These could be stories of inter dimensional draconian aliens. I met a guy on the Internet who swore that he was being seduced by a reptilian female who insisted that he was her mate in a past life but he went over from alien life to human incarnations and he could not remember. He claimed she has totally ruined his chances for a normal life as he can't get rid of her. He did admit they had mind blowing sex and she started seducing him when he was very young.

So is there a ritual on how to go about calling one of these succubi up? bigsmile

If Jesus was born of a virgin wouldn't that suggest that his father was a male succubi? huh

Abra... here ya go. Enjoy laugh drinker

This spell was apparently popular in the Victorian age, because occult things were considered to be in fashion back then. And you wouldn't be burnt at the stake then either, the Inquisition was long since over. Just don't start any witch trials by accident, okay?

Step #1: Clearly mark the floor with a white chord (or white chalk) and make a protective circle or pentagram. A white marble inlaid in black marble floor would be best, but most people can't afford that. It is important that nothing disrupts the protective circle. Even a bit of dirt across the white line could ruin the spell.
Step #2: Take 3 black candles (or 5) and place them equal distances apart inside the circle.
Step #3: Outside the circle, make 3 or 5 (same number as the candles) protective talismans or sigils around you.
Step #4: If possible, create an outer circle made from crushed protective herbs mixed together.
Step #5: Calm yourself and relax. Centre yourself.
Step #6: Now, visualize the circle around you, protecting you and seperating you from the rest of your house. This is *essential*.
Step #7: Once you have done that, and the candles are lit, lay in the pentagram position (arms straight out, legs apart) and summon the succubus (or incubus).
Step #8: Feel her come into the circle and feel her power.
Step #9: Feel her coalese into a physical, or semi physical form and now you'll be able to interact with her.
Step #10: She should be easier to invoke and banish than an Incubus and I suggest a successful encounter with her followed by a successful banish of her before attempting the more aggressive Incubus. Always do these at the new moon.

I've got a porn movie that’s got really crappy costumes and they are supposed to be succubi. happy It’s just another way for Christians to blame hot women for giving them stiffies and therefore draining them of any decency. It was also a way in Europe to identify an "Inn" as having a brothel inside. They put out a wooden carving of a sucubus.
