Jesus is Better than Santa Santa lives at the North Pole. JESUS is everywhere. Santa rides in a sleigh JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water. Santa comes but once a year JESUS is an ever present help. Santa fills your stockings with goodies JESUS supplies all your needs. Santa comes down your chimney uninvited JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. And then enters your heart. You have to stand in line to see Santa JESUS is as close as the mention of His name. Santa lets you sit on his lap JESUS lets you rest in His arms. Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?" JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads. Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly JESUS has a heart full of love. All Santa can offer is HO HO HO JESUS offers health, help and hope. Santa says "You better not cry" JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you. Santa's little helpers make toys JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions. Santa may make you chuckle but JESUS gives you joy that is your strength. While Santa puts gifts under your tree JESUS became our gift and died on the tree. It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas. Jesus is still the reason for the season. May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008 And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year. |

Santa won't bring you presents if you're bad, even if you're sorry.
Jesus will send you to hell if you screw up, but may change his mind if you apologize and really really mean it. Sounds like Santa is pretty stubborn about you learning your lesson, while it seems Jesus want's your devotion more than anything. Or maybe this is just what WE think is going on. It seems like people contemplate these things so much that they fail to see any message of good. |

The reason for the season.
For me, the reason for the season is more about my friends and family than it is about either Jesus or Santa. Not saying that anyone else can't have whatever reasons they want. Just that those are mine. I really love the friends and family that I spend the holidays with and I'm happy that I have them (botht the friends and the holidays). Being able to spend time with those people makes me happier. And I think that's a good thing.

Santa can't heal cancer kids but he gives them gifts. Jesus can heal them and refuses to. Yeah, I think Santas better. |

The reason for the season.

And I hope you have a wonderful time enjoying the company of family and friends and sharing and making happy memories. You mentioned 'time' and that is one of the best gifts you can give to another.
