They have a pretty good pass rusher in Avril(spelling?) the rookie that they decided to start about half way through the season. He finished the year with 6 or 7 sacks, which is pretty good considering the playing time he's gotten and that he's a rookie.

I can't say enough how bad the o-line is. And you're right, the more we can run the better our passing game is. That's evident every time Smith had a good game. We always seem to be in it when we can run the ball. It's just been our total lack of preventing the "big play" late in the game on defense that lost us most our shots at winning.

I really wouldn't mind if they spent ALL of their draft picks on defensive guys.
