This is very true. What this card tells you is that you will win but it also suggests that you always ask yourself if the battle you are about to engage in is worth it. Some are necessary, some aren't. That's what I have been asking myself. I did another reading questioning my motives on this. I wanted to make sure I was doing this for my children and not as some kind of revenge. I am satisfied that this is the right thing to do. I just have to keep my focus on doing what's right and not get caught up in it emotionally. |

Unfortunately, most of my battles take place within myself, and I never really find out which side of me wins. Over all I'd say, I am the winner, and the battles were worth fighting. Then you should learn to love yourself and all of the parts of you who disagree and cause that inner conflict. Each voice within needs to be heard as if it were an individual. Allow all of your voices to express themselves as long as they are not doing harm to others. They deserve to be heard and not shoved into the corner. Express yourself in all that you are. Thank you
That sums it up neatly, and yes, I do listen to all of my voices. |

Good morning everyone. It is Monday, December 15th 2008 and time for a daily energy reading.
The card drawn for today I the eight of swords. To see a larger version of this card" http://www.bacaracka.com/400/8-of-swords400.jpg In our card there is a woman who looks as if she may be or feel trapped in her situation and she is stopped by eight swords in front of her. She does not realize that she can walk out the door and be free any time she wants to. It is a mental prison where we hold ourselves back from living life to the fullest. People sometimes project their fears and inhibitions into their surroundings and then they view them as obstacles. But the limitations you perceive don't lie in the outer world. They are projections of your own inner apprehension and anxiety. Paralyzed by fear of the unknown, you're afraid to break the chains that bind you. As long as you greet positive suggestions with expressions such as "I can't" and "Yes but.." nothing will change. If you feel you are in a mental prison, unable to find your way out of a situation and all exits seem to be blocked, realize that there is a way out. Remove your blinders and expand your idea of what is possible. If you have boxed yourself in and convinced yourself you have no options it is probably because you have chosen to endure restrictions rather than face the unknown. This is your life, don't waste it. Be bold, have courage and have faith that the universe in on your side. Your thoughts create your personal reality and if you think you are trapped, that is what you create. Don't let fear stop you from finding your true purpose. "Come out! come out, where ever you are! |

Very good advice on the eight of swords! I do feel in a prison not mentally but physically at times as I have a weak leg from the past incident. It sometimes even leads to mental frustrations as it prevents me on doing the kind of work I really want to do.
Although I have accepted this mentally, my body refuses to accept it physically, as I continue to try to stay active on my feet as much as it allows me. This mental prison you talk about is true. I have to shift my mind in both manners. Thank you again for the wisdom this card holds. |

Daily Tarot Card Reading Tuesday, December 16, 2008
To see larger version of this card: http://www.bacaracka.com/400/devil400.jpg Card drawn: THE DEVIL The Devil is card number 15 of the Major Arcana. It reflects belief in the surface rather than in the inner truth of a situation. The card in our deck shows people in chains, ruled by a beautiful queen. She personifies temptation, burdens, restrictions, choices and misdirection.. On each side of her she has a black panther, guarding her. Behind her, barely to be seen in the darkness is the face of the beast, a reptilian monster representing evil and a lack of compassion. But the Devil is about bondage to the material world and the perpetual habit of negative thinking that spawns the problems of our daily lives. The Devil represents your own fears, he is the path of least resistance. He makes you believe that you can’t do anything and that you are powerless to exert control over your life. In order to escape his bondage you must alter your thoughts and actions. It’s time you realized that the chains that hold you can be removed at will. If you let life’s events make decisions for you, then you are passively choosing, trapped in inertia and feelings of helplessness. The Devil reminds us to avoid the trap of negative feelings and to take charge of our life and choose to choose. The Devil can be exorcised by changing the patterns of behavior or thinking that keeps you in a master-slave situation, or that perpetually attracts the same experiences to you that you don’t want. The Devil also can mean slavery to material things or substance abuse. Working two jobs just to keep up with the neighbors will make you a slave. The devil comes with an oppressed feeling of burden that weighs heavy on the spirit. When I draw this card the message to me is to be aware of the direction of my thinking and turn towards a more positive thought process as my thoughts are "the asking" and will create of my personal reality. It tells me to place my attention on the positive and spiritual aspects of life and not the appearances on the surface. It reminds me that I am free unless I choose to be a slave to this world. |

Daily Tarot Card Reading
Wednesday, December 17th 2008 Card Drawn: Three of Pentacles This card is about success in business and perhaps a group effort to construct something. It pertains to your chosen career and is a good card to draw if you are asking about work or your business. The energy is a group energy so it could be about your company or partnership. But in doing readings the traditional meaning of the cards do not always apply to a question asked so the reader must look at the picture and try to discover what the picture itself means in relation to the question asked, or otherwise try to discover what information is being presented. Sometimes you have to go with the first thing that pops into your mind, it is usually right. I once drew this card when a person was asking about the disappearance of her cat. I had drawn three cards for the reading. The three cards were, the five of cups, (the loss) the three of Pentacles and the high priestess. Now one might wonder how you might discover what happened to a persons cat by looking at these three cards. I took a stab at it. In looking at the three of pentacles I saw a construction site. I asked her if there had been any new construction going on in her neighborhood when the cat disappeared. She said yes and seemed surprised. There had been a lot of construction only a block from her house. I told her that the construction site is probably where the cat went missing. The High priestess told me that someone else knows the truth about what happened to the cat but is not telling her. A woman standing behind her who was looking very amazed at the reading suddenly had a very guilty look on her face when I looked up at her. When I am involved in a good reading, I sometimes break out in goose bumps on my arms. I had goose bumps. I did not know these people or if the reading was accurate and I never found out what happened to the cat, I sure wish I did. But this is one example of how a tarot card can tell you things that relate to the question. -- -- -- -- Five of cups = the loss of the cat was causing grief. Three of pentacles = The construction site The High Priestess = Secrecy. (Someone is keeping a secret from you, probably a woman.) |

Energy reading for the day.
December 18, 2008 CARD DRAWN: SIX OF SWORDS This card indicates that you have made certain decisions that are taking you into a new direction in your life. You are entering a metaphorical gateway which takes you on a journey away from your problems. The future may be unknown but you move toward it with hope in your heart. The empowerment of this card is that you are putting distance between yourself and past difficulties. In your search, you journey through various levels of consciousness and study different belief systems. You pass with ease from the waking state to dreaming and back again. For you health, you may travel to a distant clinic, if necessary, for evaluation of a health problem. The rapport you establish with the doctors and nurses eases your tension. Your physical problems are resolved, but it doesn't happen over night. Going to a better place or situation is the primary meaning of this card. |

Daily Energy Reading
December 19, Friday, 2008 Card drawn: THE EMPRESS The Empress is the great Mother Goddess. She, as mother nature, governs the cycle of birth and death and rebirth. She sets our world in order and grants us the cornucopia of Earth's bounty. Her domain lies in emotions, feelings, inner promptings. In astrology her mate is Venus, the embodiment of emotional love, sensual pleasure, and sexual passion. So the energy for today is one that portends to the earth and all the things that surround us in the physical world of abundance. This energy is the energy of the mother who loves and nurtures her young. Last night on the animal planet I watched a show called "The heart of a Lioness." It was about a lioness who became obsessed with nurturing and protecting a baby antelope as if it were her cub. Both of them remained together for two weeks in desperate need of food. She had no milk for the fawn but the fawn had gotten a little bit of milk from its mother. The lioness was alone, and it was thought that she had lost her sisters and she adopted the fawn, which had started out to be prey. This strange behavior was all caught on film. It demonstrates the energy of the mother and how the instinct for nurturing can overcome hunger and the instinct to kill for food. So the energy today is the energy of a Mother's love. Below is a picture of a tiger who lost her cubs and was allowed to adopt some piglets because she was emotionally distraught and getting ill. The zoo keepers did not know if she would adopt them or eat them.... oh well. As you can see, she adopted them. |

And, that is exactly who I will be turning to now for a bit. To me, the Virgin Mary is the Mother Goddess.

And, that is exactly who I will be turning to now for a bit. To me, the Virgin Mary is the Mother Goddess. Cool. I believe there is a feminine energy or mother goddess energy and the virgin Mary is as good as any because it is a strong symbol and powerful energy in the subconscious. I like Bast, protector of cats, women and children. She is the protector of cats, women and children. The ancient Egyptians celebrated her feastday on October 31 with convivial merry making, music, dancing in the streets and drinking with friends - the sort of holiday we would recognise instantly. http://www.catpert.com/bast-protector-of-cats.html |

Bast is a good one. There are several very "motherly" goddess figures one can turn to. It's just who calls to you and resonates in your subconscious.

I love cats. My cousin sent me pictures of this tiger and the piglets. The zoo keepers could not find any other kind of babies for her to adopt, all they could find were piglets. I think its funny they put little tiger suits on them. I wonder how long they will let them stay with her and if they will have to make larger tiger suits for them when they grow.

I have seen that picture before and it is a very powerful image. They may have to put a seamstress on the payroll there to make new suits every year. |
