I'm new and I was wondering if forum posting is mostly just for fun or if you think it really helps in meeting guys or girls? Do forum posting people really meet up with other forum posting people? I personally think it's a great way to get to know people from different places, to make friends, and to get involved in some interesting conversations. As far as actually meeting someone -- I've been here two years and am no closer to meeting anyone than the day I signed up. That is not the fault of the site, though. There just aren't any local people who participate in the forums or reply to e-mails, from what I've seen. |

I don't know if it actually helps, but it doesn't hurt. If it weren't for the forums, there would be nothing on here but snapshots and 2 paragraph blurbs about the people on this site. The forums enable all of us to get a little more insight as to who we all are, what makes us tick, ethics, religion, humor, compassion, and a host of other traits that are important in a relationship.

I have had 2 dates already and have made a few freinds here. I am not so concerned about finding a date, things will fall where they will. posting here has made it possible for me to meet people I would other wise not have and a few ladies that are intrested but live a few hours away. just relax and enjoy it here, if you build it they will come.
