there used to be a price on my head
but i raised the ante and roared like a lion
and my value soared very quickly
now no one can come close to what iam worth
iam me what more can i say

Each individual sets their own worth according to their production and
value to those around them.
Personally, I'm priceless!

Unfortunately, I just found out. To society, as a stay-at-home mom, I
was worth 0. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. When I went to get a home equity loan
a few weeks ago (I own almost half the equity in my home), I was told I
can't take a dime out of my house because of the 16 year gap in my job
hx. I stayed at home and raised great kids. The thanks I get is I didn't
exist for almost 20 years, according to Fannie May (sp?), which I
believe is the government's regulations. Wow. I was depressed.

rivergirl i know this is said alot but stay at home moms are priceless
that is what i'm speaking of.we are the care givers. the nurse, the
bookkeeper, the cleaners, etc.......priceless.

and it is unfortunate that domestic goddesses are frowned upon.
