to be honest you are barely legal. That and you are not in an atmosphere that can help your maturity shine. If you are really looking for an older woman, sign up for some classes at your local community college, take some ballroom dance lessons, or find something social that will better personify your maturity and not your age.

This is the SEVENTH "I'm 18 and I want to date older women" thread in 4 days. The nursing home is full of older women that could use some love. one day ill be old then he'll like me  its not that i dont like women my age, its just i havent found any who could equal my level of maturity i guess... kinda depressing actually |

I used to be incredibly mature. I am not sure what happened. me either? Well, maybe it was because I didn't enjoy the first childhood. This second childhood seems to be more fun.

im taken. but i probably wouldnt give you the time of day because you have to get on forums to prove how mature you are. wait what? umm forums are really the only way to talk to people at least at first but not giving me the time of day is fine with me. you see i carry no hopes about anyone until i've talked to them for awhile, so your i guess "rejecting" me isnt a big deal at all. but now i'm curious, where did that come from? at first you were making it seem as if youa ctually wanted to talk to me and then, you sound pissed at me for no apparent reason.... if there is a valid reason please enlighten me |

ok i think i get what you all are getting at:
if i'm so mature then why would i have to go and post it in a forum? the answer is this: if this was an actrual dating place where you got to talk to people in person, then i wouldnt have to go around saying "oh i'm much more mature than my age" but since its not, how else am i supposed to get the fact out there? i do agree that maybe stating right at first was not very smart (brain fart i guess) but come on its afer 1am, cut me some slack |

I guess the dilemna here is the claims of maturity from young men. Most people are skeptical and don't believe things unless they have visceral and tangible proof. For example by the time I turned 19 I had been shot twice in combat in the army- big red one, little white one- worst of the first cav, and I was working to finish my first bachelors degree. People would argue my maturity, but the truth of the matter is that I'm an adventurous clown that refuses to grow up. Know yourself best. Never surrender yourself. If you like yourself, you never have to defend yourself. Never put yourself in the line of fire both literally and figuratively. Does that make sense?

Patience young padawan. If you really are incredibly mature for your age your maturity will eventually show through in your forum postings and in your profile. Then the older women will respond to you.
Of course if you make threads whining about not getting women you will come off as insecure and no amount of maturity makes up for a lack of confidence in a man. |
