my own personal opinion is: in most cases i think abortion should be abolished.
why? ok as the woman, you went and had sex...took the risk of getting pregnant, and got pregnant. its your fault, deal with it. the very LEAST you could do is have the baby and give it up for adoption. and dont tell me you wouldnt be able to afford having the baby. you could do at home child birth which drastically cuts down on the medical expenses, and if you can afford to have an abortion, you can afford to have a baby and give it up for adoption, there is no sense in killing off an unborn child. also one last point i would like to make: if a woman decides to have an abortion, its not murder.... but if someone kills woman who is pregnant then its considered a double homicide... what is up with that? either its a life or its not, you CANNOT have both. Now thereare only two cases in which i think abortion is ok 1. the mother was raped and got pregnant 2. keeping the child would cause the mothers death or something else very extreme |

i dont know why you all are giving her a hard time about this, her meaning is clear enough to those who are smart enought o understand it, and if you do understand no sense in giving her a hard time is there? anyways, i believe that there is a certain point when a parent needs to get physical with their children, like for example, repeated defiance. start light at first, just a little swat on the hand or mouth or butt whichever is appropriate for the situation hitting= slap on hand bad mouth= slap on mouth anything else= slap on the bottom and so on and so forth Noooo...no child should ever be hit on the mouth. now don't misunderstand me, i am not saying you should hit them hard, a small swat on the mouth can go a long way, it doesnt even have to hurt. when i am watching my litle sister and on the rare occasions when she does get a mouth with me i am fair and give her a few verbal warnings first because i believe verbal warnings should always come before physical contact, ond only when she decides not to stop do i give her the smack on the mouth. now mind you, it doesnt hurt her, but it suprises her and makes her stop. what i think she is thinking is that if she doesnt stop mouthing off then the next time it may actually hurt. there i've said my piece |

I guess the dilemna here is the claims of maturity from young men. Most people are skeptical and don't believe things unless they have visceral and tangible proof. For example by the time I turned 19 I had been shot twice in combat in the army- big red one, little white one- worst of the first cav, and I was working to finish my first bachelors degree. People would argue my maturity, but the truth of the matter is that I'm an adventurous clown that refuses to grow up. Know yourself best. Never surrender yourself. If you like yourself, you never have to defend yourself. Never put yourself in the line of fire both literally and figuratively. Does that make sense? indeed it does and i agree with you |

ok..... this is where i learned that i'm too mature for most women my age. i dated this one woman named Katie and for the longest time we were unbelievably happy, at least i thought so. but out of nowhere she breaks up with me. when i ask her why, all she says to me is "did you think this was a serious relationship? its not, i've been dating other guys for awhile, and i just got bored with you." CoryM you are better off without a person with no heart or morals..lesson learned the hard way. The world is full of these kind of people...it makes me sad that this happens to good people..

ok i think i get what you all are getting at: if i'm so mature then why would i have to go and post it in a forum? the answer is this: if this was an actrual dating place where you got to talk to people in person, then i wouldnt have to go around saying "oh i'm much more mature than my age" but since its not, how else am i supposed to get the fact out there? i do agree that maybe stating right at first was not very smart (brain fart i guess) but come on its afer 1am, cut me some slack Here's the deal, man. Coming out and saying that you are mature is a whole lot different than hanging out around here and letting people SEE that maturity in your words and opinions and ability to handle differing points of view. yes i know and thats what i'm saying it WAS NOT very smart of me to start he forum with 'hi i'm much more mature than my age' had a brain fart, i apologize. |

This is the SEVENTH "I'm 18 and I want to date older women" thread in 4 days. The nursing home is full of older women that could use some love. one day ill be old then he'll like me 
its not that i dont like women my age, its just i havent found any who could equal my level of maturity i guess... kinda depressing actually and im not mature
