Topic: I can't date some one who....

i cant date someone who doesnt stand on their own two feet...
granted, some circumstances are workable...


seems a big requirement for someone who is 23.


im not looking for someone who still has a bed time at their parents house because they havent moved out yet. ive been on my own two feet since i was 17 and im still alive...it lets me know that theyre not dependent...the last thing i want is a cling-on.


How about a Romulan or a Vulcan? laugh

Don't want someone who is possessive, controlling, manipulative, abusive, looking for me to support them, for starters anyways.

Want a partner in life, not a "boss."

I couldnt be with a pessimist, or a person who is arrogant.

I also couldnt be with a quiet person who doesnt like smalltalk.....i thrive on the small stuff!

I can't date someone who....

....doesn't know what to write here.

....is a cardboard cutout.

....has no sense of humor.

....has no creative impulse.

....has no communications skills.

....isn't intelligent enough to keep me interested. I am easily bored by brain-dead fluffballs.

....tries to "domesticate" me.

....tries to push their religion on me.

....has kids.

....drinks.

....doesn't appreciate a good (or even a bad) book.

....wants to get married. Been there, done that, no thanks.

I can't date a man who would be so superficial as to actually dump someone for simply not being ticklish enough. happy

But seriously I draw the line at sociopaths and guys that dont like animals or are environmentally unconscious.

Someone who is cruel or mean to the people around him.
Someone who makes promises and doesn't keep them.
Someone who tells you only what he thinks you want to hear.
Someone who isn't brave enough to stand up for his beliefs.

... expects me to take care of him (I don't have,nor want kids... and I damn sure don't need a grown one either)
... has no car (and has no intention of getting one, [unless he lives in a heavily populated city with a multitude of taxis, cars aren't neccesary in places like NY...but I live outside of ATL in the suburbs damn it!..lol])
... is clingy
... is insanely jealous
... who is critical of education or any type of learning
... is ignorant of general ideas or the world around him
... has no communication skills
... does not travel and has no desire to go anywhere new
... has no concept of creativity
... is disrepectful of others
... is immature

... isn't blunt,direct,honest,full of integrity

I can't date someone who:

doesn't have a sense of humor.

doesn't have integrity.

doesn't have goals in life.

doesn't want to grow or change.

is rude to others simply because they can be.

still thinks the world revolves around them.

refuses to listen to ideas that are not in agreement with theirs.

who doesn't exercise their brain.

who is satisfied with the level of education (including learning form life) that they already have.

who is unwilling to try new things.

who feels they have already "attained".

who isn't kind or compassionate.

who doesn't love kids/people.
