Yeserie..the world can once again walk all over us...

some legacy...

considering that you still are in possesion of the greatest stockpile of weapons of mass destruction, I wouldnt worry too much about the "world walking all over you"

...the only ones who did (and continue to do) that are the oil and energy corporations. They got what they wanted, with their puppet Bush opening the doors for their unlimited greed..

Interesting comment considering that President Elect Obama was heavily funded by business.

Among Obama's contributors, 5,845 list "CEO" or "chief executive" in their title, compared with 2,597 of McCain's donors, according to election records compiled by CQ MoneyLine.

Hmmmm, good thing we got the guy who has your best interests at heart.

One Obama myth down--many more to go.

Don't forget that people of ALL incomes donated money for his campaign.

Yes, it will be interesting. It will take years to clean up the mess we're in and then we may see some results. That's when the "interesting" will come in.

some debt on occasion yes

but not ewhen yer already at a trillions to add almost anthor trillion to it is not the answer (do not for get the interest)

I'm just not optimistic about anything short-term by either one of them. I think it looks long-term.

Attitudes like yours were obliterated last night. Your backward, hateful beliefs were swept away by history. Enjoy the 50's.

Dictator Obama PROMISED "change" for Americans. I see a socialist country coming as a form of his "change" for America.
I do not feel safe when another terrorist attack hits America.
At least McCain had the experience of being in the service to protect us when this happens again.
What experience does Obama possess? Just that he wants to end the war.
Our soldiers our mocked what a shame this country has come to elect such a dictator.

You made a major step in proving the naysayers wrong. You've made a giant leap toward earning the respect of the world again America. Don't screw it up.

How do they respect us again. I have friends overseas who actually think we are quite foolish to vote Obama... But go ahead, believe the media...

The change we need will not come from Obama, nor congress as a whole. We need to make ourselves independent. We need to change how we deal with every day life, and start think about what would make a strong, stable nation...

a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
