You know, speaking of people forming opinions about things....... I have experienced more anger, resentment and negativity since coming out as a witch than I ever did in my 13 years as a cop. And, that's saying a lot because a lot of the guys I worked with didn't think women should be cops. sorry, just thinking out loud. I guess it's starting to annoy me a bit.

that people believe what they want, regardless of facts. I mean when did an opinion turn into a fact??  Some of the things I have heard coming out of people's mouths lately... whew Time for more coffee
People have some VERY outlandish "theories" they blatantly espouse as to the origins of humans. I dont want to say any names but a couple in the religion forum in particular. I mean of course they have a right to believe whatever they want no matter how unsubstantiated or preposterous but sometimes, I really worry because they take themselves so seriously. Like for instance, one lady in the religion forum I thought was kidding and she wasn't.

This day and age I'm amazed that most people agree that 2+2 still equals 4. It doesn't matter about the proof you lay in front of a person. They believe what they want to and they stick to their ignornace. Maybe ignorance really is bliss which is why they refuse to give it up.
