Like the guy that debated with me about the dinosaurs... Yes, to him ( and apparently many other people) the dinosaurs were a government conspiracy. They went around the world planting "bones" to make us think the world is really older than it is...   Yep, I need a shot

Yeah Winx, I remember having that debate with someone back in high school. I used get a lot of grief being the wife of a Freemason. People telling me about how its a secrect cult . . . Have you ever met a Mason? Well, no I can sympathize. My grandpa was a mason (passed now) so I have some understanding of what they are. In fact right now over in the religion forum there is a thread going about the Illuminati and you should see some of the wild theories that people have copy and pasted. I have no doubt that some of these organizations might have been involved in diabolical plots over the centuries but it REALLY gets to be overblown and I attribute this, at least in part that they were in fact "secret organizations" and whenever someone doesnt have access to all the details surrounding anything, its human nature to attempt to "fill in the gaps" with a lot of wild, unsubstantiated theories or claims.
