I believe Obama will win, but if many people vote for alternatives it will at least send a message that people are starting to see options & will not accept the corrupt 2 party system much longer. How many would vote for an independant if they thought that candidate had a chance? The momentum was started by Perot but people who voted for him felt they wasted thier vote. What if the momentum built & we actually got a president who was not a major party puppet?

I am sick of merely voting for the lessor of 2 evils.

But...an Independent will not win at this point in time.
That will take votes away from Obama.

And that will mean that McCain will win. scared scared

I understand Winx. At least you vote! The worst thing is apathy.

This happens every election with third parties, which I have been a party to. The things is that if we truly want to change the two party system we need to start right after this election and not wait. It never happens though, people don't stay fired up. I think we should make sure that Obama lives up to his word by staying as active as we are now.

nope

but it is a sure thing in this one

the major candidates are so far apart (so a chioce should not be hard if you vote major party)

but both of them are going to steal more from the people to give to other areas of the world)

they both will bail out the rich with little regard for the struggling citizen

well lets let the rich struggle a little

they both voted for the bailout (helping the rich) [how did it help you]

they both want control and want the people under their thumb and to remove your choices

You are right Enderra. I am guilty as anyone else. We get caught up in surviveing & that's part of the plan. Exhausted & depressed people do not have the energy to revolt. I am one of those "trailer trash" wage slaves they make fun of. I bought a home I could afford it happens to have wheels.

I just wish people could be more open minded and look outside of what the media pounds into their brains. It's sickening to me to see that people can be that brainwashed.

I am still undecided, but considering him. If he wasn't a Rubublican He'd be much more attratcive to me. I will probably vote for Bill Ingram. I bet no one's heard fo him unless it's from my previous posts.

In the important things they are the same DJ, as you have outlined. The "major differences" are in distracting issues that appeal to emotions & divide the country.
