isn't it true that they get 'stuck' in a certain area because of some wrongful death or something?

if you want to see something disproved, go watch a taps episode. they try to debunk everything that they hear, they are not out to prove anything. they are regular guys that go and investigate claims of paranormal. for example, they went to a church that was transformed into a home, and they had alot of claims of seeing people and hearing things, doors opening, and disproved everything. but in another show,, they went to a lighthouse in florida, and caught some things on camera that would be very very hard to say that nothing was there. they caught things looking over the railing of the stairs, and there are motion detectors that turn lights on at the top, and they never came on, they have caught things moving with no one in the room, music when there was none playing, people talking when they were the only ones there. they cant explain it and thats what they do.

I was at a hotel several years ago. I have all of the lights out in the room except for the TV. I notice lots of lights flashing outside. I walk out and the police are kicking down the door next to my room. There is a man laying dead in there and had been for a couple of days. He had died of an apparent heart attack. I go back to my room and there is a door that adjoined the room where the dead guy was. I put a chair in front of that door. Then I get up to go to the bathroom. I have stayed at this hotel many times and for some reason on this night the bathroom door was closed. On the back of the bathroom door was a full length mirror that I had never known was there. Remember the only light was from the TV. I reach for the door knob and then all of a sudden see a hand reaching for my hand. Of course it was the reflection in the mirror but it scared the sh!t outta me! I never stayed there again.

Depends on who you listen to. Some ghosts are stuck in a place and some are attached to objects or people, if they move, so does the ghost. And yet others believe that they pretty much can go wherever they choose. I think we'll find out when we're (a) dead or (b) if there really are ghosts, when someone figures out a way of actually communicating in a meaningful way.

Not off-hand but I think Thumper was gonna look up some of their episodes. The show's called Ghost Hunters, it's on the SciFi channel on Wednesday nights. If you get bored, curious or whatever, it's a pretty decent show, even if you don't believe. I like them, though, because they really do try to find logical explanations for whatever is happening and most of the time, they do.

I don't believe in ghost, fairies, alien generated crop circles,chupacabres,sasquatch,or the Easter bunny, but I do believe that there are angels among us...

and thats your right, but some people might believe that someone might get stuck between the here and now and whatever lies in wait for us when we die

And perhaps what some people believe are angels are really just ghosts?
