if you would look into it you would see what im refering to. but since you say its automaticly biased then why even bother? as we said to pingpong, taps, short for the atlantic paranormal society sets out to debunk or find causes of things that happen in places, and more often than not its something in the home that can cause it. say, electromagnetic fields, which some people can be sensitive to. or it could be mold, as in one home from the 1700's. but there are cases where they find things that no one can explain, and they call it paranormal.

Just because something cant be explained doesnt make it paranormal. Science probably just hasnt got there yet.

All i know is that nothing(not ANYTHING) that is said to be paranormal has ever been proved to be correct, or even anywhere near to it. But yes, there are of course things that are unexplained.

this is an evp recording made in the viscilla axe murder house in iowa. during the investigation there were no children there. on the recording there are childrens voices on the tape. see for yourself. and they have video of them that runs at the same time as the voice recorder.

Thanks, but i cant actually listen to it here, i am at work with no sound on the pc i am at right now. I can watch silent videos only!

But still, the fact that no children were there, would not mean a thing to me, for reasons i already said.

I'm skeptical of things that cannot be proven. Testable and repeatable results.

BUT...I own a house in Texas and had let my cousin live there for some years. Greatest guy in the world who treated me like a long lost brother even after I hadn't seen him in 20 something years.

Unfortunately, his wife murdered him there. Shot him in the stomach, on a drunk, with a 12 gauge shotgun. His last words were "That crazy ***** shot me".

Sue (my ex) and I often visited him there when I moved back from NYC, and he was always sitting in one chair at his table..usually doing his books or something. We had to go and clean it up and take care of his things.

We were in the process of that and I came into the living room and, in a reflection in a mirror by the door, saw him sitting in that chair clear as day, same as always. No kidding. It was only a moment and when I spun around, he was not there. Whenever you go in and walk over the spot where he died, it's as cold as ice and what little hair I have stands up on the back of my neck.

Thats my one and only experience with "ghosts" but it has made me a believer. I saw him.

I still go to the farm there but only to my cabin on the lake..never the big house. I decided to just let it fall down when it falls.

with him being there,, he was snatched out of life too quick, and he may feel that he wasent finished with what he needed to do, so he may be looking to finish whatever it was, or he just may not know hes dead. hes not there to hurt or scare you. 90 percent of what people say are ghosts are not there to cause trouble.

My cousin was one of the nicest, most helpful good ole country boys you would ever want to meet. Never met a stranger and never failed to help anyone in need.On the side of the road or if he had to drive there. Sue only knew him a few months and she cries to this day when we talk about him. We still talk a good bit. I would never be scared of him but I think you may be right about him not being finished. When I cleared his stuff..he was a mechanic... there were 27 cars there and most of them just belonged to friends who he only charged parts for..if that. I just don't want to go back because we had to clean the blood, bone & tissue from the floor and walls and EMT stuff that was left. And I always think of that rather than him when I was there. Can't help it. Bad experience that I dislike recalling.

i can fully understand that. my uncle died in the rock quarry that was about 150 yards in front of my front door of where i grew up. i felt him there every time i walked by it, i felt him every time i went swimming there, and i still feel his hand close to me when i go swimming now,, no matter where im at. same with my uncle mike,, i feel like he is in the car with me when i go driving. he died in a car wreck, and i belive hes watching over me when im in any kind of situation that he was in. i have been in wrecks that i should never have walked away from and i cant really find the words to say it, but i felt like he had his arms around me in the wrecks. neither of them ever saw 25 years old.

Yeah. I've lost a lot of friends and brothers and have always thought that as long as someone remembered them, they were not dead, just gone away.

my grandmother,, dead for almost 3 years,, still speaks to me,, not always do i want to hear what she says, because it hurts. but they dont want to see me in pain and try to help me, but me being hardheaded i dont always want to listen. just focus on the good times, not on the bad.

Thats what I do. Every time I'm helping someone work on a car and I have to do diagnostics I think "Damn I wish that Butch were here!". He could probably just tell me off the top of his head what to do. lol

Anyway, I understand that there are things that can't be explained sometimes. My problem is when people jump on that thing that they can't explain and just make up an explanation for it. Just looking at history, that method has failed time and time again.

No offense intended here, so don't read anything into it that isn't there.

The idea of a skeptic having an issue with people just making up an " explanation " is, to me, ludicrous on it's very face.

How many times have we seen UFO debunkers use excuses like " swamp gas " of " just a trick of the weather " to explain something that they couldn't come up with a better explanation for???

As for ghosts...a skeptic will shout from the rooftops ( figuratively speaking ) that a video was faked of manipulated, just so that they have some kind of explanation for what they are seeing.

You say that the " method has failed time and time again ", but yet, it seems to work perfectly well for those that refuse to believe.
