do you know if you can smoke in a car in Michigan with a 7 year old child that has asthma .my x does and should i turn her in what do you think?

yea i can do that. my daughter says they smoke in the house to.i know that in some states you cant do it they passed laws.good tip thank you

As far as I know they havent outlawed it yet. But she should think of the kid.

In California it is now illegal to smoke in the car with minor children. Don't know about other states.

Even if it is not a state law where you are, It's not in the best interest of the child to be exposed to that, Order and emergency hearing with concern to your childs health. Pretty sure if you have proof the Judge will order her to not do it

that is bad...u have to do something for 7 years i have smoked but never in the car with her in it and never in my house.i pull the car over or if at home even in -30 i go outside

Actually in the state of PA, it is illegal to smoke in a car whenthere is a child under the age of 12 with you. A friend of mine was one day and the police pulled her over for something else but she got a $200 ticket just for the smoking thing.

Pretty sure if you have proof the Judge will order her to not do it yea so far it is just the child telling me and she would not lie about this.i have spent so much money in court so far but hey you can take it with you.last week i had my daughter in er for her asthma and a cold they sent her home with me and said if her asthma goes crazy in the next 3 hours drive as fast is you can or call 911 they pumped her full of all kinds of stuff and sent her home.i have seen her breath 60 in one min now that is a trip.30 is max for a 7 year old

Michigan has yet to pass any of the draconian smoking laws that states like California seem to be so fond of. I don't agree with your ex smoking in a car that has an asthmatic child in it, but so far, it isn't against the law.

What do asthmatic people do in heavy smog?they have to do lots of meds.my daughter takes 3 kinds for 7 years in the am and sometimes in the day.to a child and to annyone it is a living h###. to see them almost stop breathing and gasp fore each breath it is not fun.they have meds for everthing but you should see the side affects. Just wondering.

Ask your Lawyer due to the child having asthma it could fall under Endangerment to a Child.

What do asthmatic people do in heavy smog? Just wondering. it's hard to breathe in any extreme condition, if you have asthma. i have it and when it's really hot outside, i can't breathe. so i'm sure being around heavy smog would be even worse.

I dont know about it being illegal but it is ridiculous...............you need to at least go to Family court and let a judge decide............wow to that

yea i can do that. my daughter says they smoke in the house to.i know that in some states you cant do it they passed laws.good tip thank you As far as I know passing a law telling someone they can't smoke in their own home isn't happening, but most states now have made it illegal to smoke in public buildings and it's definatley not a good idea to smoke with a kid in a car... especially with asthma. I have asthma and that is akin to child abuse, IMHO.
