Been there, done that. You'll forget him soon eventually, if you want to. There are tons of jerks out there, but once you learn to spot them, and keep them away from you, it's not so bad. And yeah, a guy who talks about meeting after 4 days isn't exactly a keeper; he's either running to or away from something. Good luck.

Ok. So I've been talking to this guy for the last 4 days or so. I met him on this website. We had so much in common, talked for hours on the phone, and he had even said he wanted to come visit me from WA. I live in FL. Everything is going good. We even talked about if it would be ok for the both of us to do a long distance dating relationship for now and see how things go. Then today, I get an email, not a phone call, but an email telling me that he has too much going on in his personal life right now, and has no time for me, and that he would love to pursue more, but can't. UM OK......You didn't have all this stuff going on in your life 4 days ago? I felt totally blown off. I know not all guys are like this, but enough with the head games already. I guess I just attract the jerks. I have come across a few women like that as well. I guess it goes both ways huh? |

I beg to differ...all guys are NOT jerks! I will second that most are only jerks if you let them be and take it from them. There are way to many nice ones to let the bad ones get to you. And honestly have seen some women worse then the men I have known lol shshshs So never mark them all bad just cause you might have found one rotten one in the bunch!!

Take it slow. You need to be happy with yourself before you jump into a full fledged relationship. i divorced in april. they gentleman i am seeing now is committment phobic-i am totally cool with that. personally don't want to get married again. if he chooses to leave because he is not happy with me then he leaves. i will not beg or plead with any man to stay. sooner or later if they are unhappy they will leave.
i now do things for myself--i do a lot of volunteer work for the local USO. i also volunteer at the local library. i am an amateur photographer trying to set up my own business. I have a 13 yr old son I share custody with and I work full time for the state and just re-enlisted with the Army National Guard. I am living my life my way and I am a lot happier for doing so. love yourself first and then you will find the one you are supposed to be with. it is not easy-we all falter sometimes, but it is worth it in the end. good luck and if it feels off or wrong then it is. trust your gut. |
