Oh for fu*ks sake. I don't think they were referring to the people who are honest in the way they speak. They were referring to the people who are as*holes just because they can be. BINGO  A BIG difference in being honest in a helpful way or just being a total AZZ!

Example of a MEANIE...making a rude and hurtful comment to someone that made a very serious post. THAT is NOT being opinionated...that is just being MEAN. You are correct on that.. Here's one though.. Someone posts something serious and someone goes in that post and just makes smilies, whether whichever ones, but says nothing... Is that being mean? Then those in the thread attack that person saying they're mean and calling them names, saying they hope they get karma back and a bunch of other things.. Who in that situation is mean?? And no it wasn't me.. lol |

JUst out and out rude, hurtful people. Running around making smartazz comments just to inflict pain on others ...many of who are hurting for some reason...making fun of people...etc...this is what is MEAN...not people using the forums to voice their opinions...or even to joke around...where joking is appropriate and understood. |

Opinions are great...but this is not the meaness that is spoken of. JUst out and out rude, hurtful people. Running around making smartazz comments just to inflict pain on others ...many of who are hurting for some reason...making fun of people...etc...this is what is MEAN...not people using the forums to voice their opinions...or even to joke around...where joking is appropriate and understood. some people are just sarcastic and joking by nature... they get accsed of being mean and attacked by the "nice people" when they are just like that... we all know them in real life.. joking at inaprorpriate times... they dont do it to be mean. they just do it cuz its what they know how to do.... but they get attacked for it too... |

I know some people have made some serious post around here...including me, Lily, Lilthe, redhead and some others and some very rude comments were made on those posts...now I am one of the biggest jokers around....but I have sense enough to know when to joke and when not to...and when someone makes a post that clearly has a serious tone to it it is downright rude and mean of someone to come in and take a jab.
